Modern 300 lb. duty rating with ceiling opening 25 in. x 54 in. This scissor metal LST ladder is made from quality steel and wood, nicely finished with attention to detail. The LST is equipped with a locking mechanism, which is installed on inside surface of a 1.5 in. thick insulated and sealed door. Scissors system locks the door in a fully open position ensuring easy and safe operation. Ladder is very well balanced; it unfolds and folds almost by itself with minimum force. The S-shaped steps give a modern appearance and serve as handrails while climbing the ladder. The scissor ladder is equipped with two pairs of springs. The first supports the operation of the ladder, the other helps open and close the door. The door is very well balanced; it opens and closes easily with no sudden movements. Ladder length may be adjusted by adding or removing step segments (step model # LSS 31). Each step increases 8 in. ceiling heights. Max two steps.
