The GTi20 Predator Series Thermal Imaging Camera Visual Imaging with Picture-in-picture is ideal for revealing hidden heat-driven processes and problems. Applications include: building energy audits; equipment maintenance, repair and operations (MRO); process/manufacturing plant maintenance; water damage restoration; firefighting; navigation; surveillance. By converting objects infrared (IR) radiation to visible color images, thermal imaging cameras make it possible to detect very small temperature differences from a distance. Heat signatures can help diagnose the cause of equipment failures and poor performance due to wear and tear, misalignments and fault conditions. The GTi20 features, PIP Mode, Thermal Imaging Camera features a large, bright color LCD, 4 Moveable spots for isothermal analysis, LED Flashlight, temperature alarm, point-and-shoot simplicity and a 3 Year Limited warranty. PIP mode displays normal-color video with a fused, or overlaid, smaller thermal-color video window. This allows simultaneous view of normal and thermal imaging on the screen. In addition the window is configurable for its position within the screen. The transparency factor of the thermal window is also configurable. This screen mode can be captured in images and video. It is most useful when trying to give perspective, or context, to the scene view when describing the image and gives the operator the control of which scene portions to temperature-map; without having to map the entire image.
