Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment, as well as our local communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our commitment to economic responsibility.
Welcome to the Alafaya Trail Home Depot. We invite you to stop by and meet our team today.
No matter how complex your project may be, we're here to help you finish it. From Husky storage to electrical supplies our associates will get you in and out. You can also check out our Home Depot product locator app, which displays a store map, the aisle location and the current inventory available for the items you're looking for.
At Home Depot, getting involved in our community is important to us. We support the University Of Central Florida, volunteer through our Team Depot events and support our local veterans whenever possible. In-store, we offer hands-on learning that covers a variety of topics tailored to everyone in your family, including monthly workshops for kids.
You can find us southwest of the intersection of FL-50 and FL-408, near the Kohl's, close to Waterford Lakes Recreation. Drop by today and see what's new.

How do I find a good Christmas tree that's alive?
Look for uniformly green trees that appear healthy. A good quality real Christmas tree shouldn't lose many of its needles when you shake it, and the needles shouldn't look patchy, dry, or brown. Also, be sure to check that your tree is free of insects and disease, so carefully examine any holes or knots in the wood. We're your source for choosing the best real Christmas tree for your home.
Do you carry tailgating gear?
We carry tailgating accessories so you can find what you need before the big game. Whether you're tailgating in the parking lot or at home, remember to bring tailgating games and plenty of food. Check out our tailgating coolers, too. Shop online on our mobile app or drop by in person to see select tailgating gear at the store.
Are Kids Workshops offered at the Alafaya Trail Home Depot?
Yes, the Alafaya Trail store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. Registration for kids workshops is now available online and secures your spot at the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to order your kit.
How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?
Gift cards to The Home Depot are an excellent present for housewarming parties, birthdays, and the holidays. DIYers know these gift cards are fun to give and to receive. Purchase them at our stores or online at homedepot.com. If you receive a gift card, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Redeem our gift cards for online or in-store shopping, all with no additional fees.
