Are Kids Workshops offered at the Alpena Home Depot?

Yes, the Alpena store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am-noon. You may secure your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Keep little doers engaged with a new kit pack for each event. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to order your kit.

How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?

The plumbing isle

A very knowledgeable young lady helped me a few days ago to buy all the stuff a contractor asked me to get to renovate my bathroom. I had to get pipes, a new wax ring etc.

We came to the Alpena store to to design and purchase kitchen cabinets and countertops. It was our Lucky Day when we got Barbara Statham for our design consultant! Barbara is so knowledgeable. friendly and courteous- she is Outstanding in the job she does !! She even came in on her day off to finalize & process our order !! Barbara is an asset to your store !! Exceptional Customer Service

The employees at the Home Depot Store in Alpena, Michigan have always been friendly and helpful whenever I shopped there. Today my cashier, Cat, gave me exceptional service as we were checking out. She showed us how we could save money on our purchases. We also worked with Jeannine Ferguson in the kitchen and bath department. She helped us pick out vanities for our bathrooms and enabled us to save money on our purchase too. She genuinely did her best to give us great customer service.

Don't Count on HD for your next project!

I placed an online order that was accepted and was given a delivery date. All address information was correct. Several days after the order was placed and only 5 days before delivery due date I received an email notifying me my order had been canceled. No reason was given in the email. I had to spend 20 minutes in chat que to be told that it's because HD doesn't put it's truck on a ferry boat. That would make sense IF I lived anywhere a ferry boat was required to deliver to but I don't. No phone call was made to ask me about this before canceling my order. After getting the reason and explaining to the chat rep that it was false no solution was offered. Thanks to Home Depot I will have to scramble to complete my project on deadline now by sourcing materials elsewhere. A mistake I can guarantee will not happen again.
