Garden Shopping for Landscape Blocks
About two weeks ago my wife wanted to upgrade our front yard landscaping. We went to the Atlantic - Girin Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32225. We wanted to purchase some landscaping blocks, the first trip we purchased about 60, and placed them. We did not have enough so we went back again and purchased 30 more, still had to go back and get 9 more. The staff was more than helpful in loading the materials in our truck for my wife and I as I have a Broken left leg and ankle. So after placing the blocks our yard now looks complete. The most helpful person was the Cashier, Kimberly as she was new to Home Depot and very pleasant to work with as she welcomed us into the store and thanked us for my Military Service and by our last names as we finished with our purchase. She alone made us feel very welcome in the store and for shopping at Home Depot as if we were the only customers in the store.

The visit that made Home Depot my new Go-To store!!!
I am usually intimidated by the knowledge of the employees, Home Depot has a reputation as the contractor’s store. This particular morning I was under a time crunch. A long awaited Tile setter was at my home and I didn't have the crucial materials I was expected to have. I walked into the store and froze like a deer in headlights. Associate Cam saw my frustration and stepped in to help. He helped me interpret the measurments, cost and walked me through getting the trim and wood cut in the store. I was in and out within about 15 minutes. I couldn’t have predicted and better experience. Truly grateful, love my community Home Depot store!

Your military ID card is NO GOOD at Home Depot
I'm a 71 year-old veteran. I am appalled that in order to access the 10% military discount Home Depot proudly advertises, I have to be a computer wizard and have a scanner (I'm assuming that's what needed). Then I get to figure out how to download/upload the acceptable proof, which was not easy to find. Buying a computer, scanner, and computer training is not worth the measly 10% discount. Thanks for disrespecting veterans and senior citizens. Goodbye Home Depot.

Inconsiderate of garden center customers
The Atlantic Blvd/Jax garden center frequently has NO easy-to-handle grocery store type carts for carrying small items. Customers are forced to use the massive, hard-to-pull platform carts which are designed for heavy loads.... OR...they can walk all the way to the main entrance. For older people, this is difficult.
