Online pricing is different from store to store
I found a chainsaw online at my (Peoria, IL) store listed at $319, there were none in stock at mine but "Nearby" in Bettendorf, IA there were 5. I needed it that day so I drove 70 miles one-way to pick it up only to find the cost for that item there was $369. The only way I would have known that would have been to change the (online) store location in the web browser to match the destination, then looked up the item. There is no indication of any price difference in the nearby store list.

Bunny Castle Playground
Because this time I went there to do a project and Eddie helped me get absolutely everything I needed for the project. I was making a bunny castle playground. I didn't have any specific dimensions except that my bunny is the length of my arm. (He's massive, a Flemish Giant Rabbit). And from there Eddie measured my arm and he got to work helping me find the right lumber sheets to make my design! He chose the right brackets and screws for attaching everything together. And we even went over how to best have adhesive for the ramp. Still need to do that. Eddie seriously made this project super easy!!! And thank you Mercedes for being a great cashier! Seriously the best shopping trip I've ever had there!

I knowledgeable and rude staff
No one could help me find encapsulating paint primer or provide knowledge on covering lead paint. I spoke to 3 different associates so to me they are putting inexperienced individuals in the department as someone surely should have been able to provide advise or suggestions. Then at checkout I had some jerk in a fur hat insinuate I was going to steal my paint because I asked him to pull off extra brushes I decided I didn’t need. I had to inform him I was not finished scanning my items, I simply changed my mind on the brushes. Terrible experience.

Excellent Customer service
Mindy W. and Jayde both went out of their way to help my husband and I. We will continue to go back to this Home Depot. Very friendly staff. Mindy was knowledgeable, helpful and very polite. Jayde was helpful, knowledgeable, and even went out of way to go on her day off of work to Clinton Iowa to pick up our item for us and bring back to Bettendorf location!!!

people with disabilities
All the electric carts were low on charge and not plugged in. One was completly dead and the other two were taken one by an employee and he sat on his phone while he plugged it in and let it charge . the other customer left theirs in parking lot dead and barely got ours back before it quit . Asked to speak to manager waited 5 minutes no manager showed no one ever asked to assist us

Home Drpot Bettendorf
Purchased item on new HD credit card. Received $50 bonus discount for opening new CC acct. Had to return item ang HD would NOT allow me to use $50 bonus on new purchase. And cancelled my CC. So I lost my bonus and HD lost my CC account.
