Home Depot stores sent approximately 5.3 million pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This helped the planet by preserving over 63,500 trees, keeping over 16,000 trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saving over 50 million gallons of water, and conserving 7.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity.

Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Do toilets ever go on sale?

The Home Depot Winter Bath Savings Event runs from January 2nd through February 19th, and it covers so many items that you could also call it a toilet sale or a vanity sale. Don't forget to replace your bathtubs, showers, and bathroom mirrors to match. You can make the remodel even simpler when you contact our pros for vanity installation or toilet installation — then all you have to do is appreciate your beautiful new bathroom.

Do I need a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances life throws at you. Whether you're dealing with strong winds, blizzards, or thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements knock it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Should I do siding repairs before it gets cold?

Make sure your home is ready for winter weather by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for major repairs down the line. On the outside of your home, examine metal roof panels or roof shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks. Indoors, ensure ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, swap vinyl siding and chimney caps if they're in poor condition.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
