customer service representative at return counter.
Alec at the return counter was very rude. My wife and I greeted him but he continued to talk to his co worker and provided no acknowledgment. When greeted again and called by his name he still didn’t say anything but had time to correct me and how to pronounce his name correctly. He was very rude and arrogant.

A small gesture going a Long way
I had been to 3 or 4 different hardware stores looking for these specific glove clips. Walked into the store carrying my 2 year old and walked up 2 an employee and was immediately greeted with a big smile and was asked what he could help me with. I told him I had 2 questions, 1st was (pointing to the gloves he was currently wearing) if the store carried these specific plastic clips that secure you're gloves to your clothes/belt/ safety vest ect. He said unfortunately not and before he even finished his sentence he reached onto his side that wasn't visible to me and handed me the exact clip I was asking for and said "Hey man these clips are kinda hard 2 find, take mine" I immediately said absolutely not, but Thank You for the gesture, he informed me that his name was Jason and he was the store manager and that he had another one and 2 please take it. I thanked him and also asked him where I could find the premium foil duct tape and he didn't tell me an isle #, he literally stopped what he was doing and walked me to the isle to what I was looking for. I thanked him again so much for giving me this clip and told him that I was a miner working on the TBM drill underneath the strip and how much that clip helped me out with my profession and he responded "Hey man wait here a second, I have another clip that is more heavy duty let me go and grab it 4 you". It has been a long time since I have experienced someone going so far out of their way 2 help someone out just out of the goodness of their heart and that's Exactly what I experienced with Jason, I can 100% see why he is a manager. Over a maybe $4 plastic glove clip, He made a customer for life and changed my entire day. Thank You Again Brother -Justin Cimino

Extremely satisfying carpet purchase experience.
Kim and all the team in carpet section was very helpful to answer my questions. I had a unique situation where I wanted to split my purchase in two cards- Home depot credit card and my other credit card as the purchase amount was more than the Home Depot credit card limit. While doing this I changed my mind and decided to increase the credit limit on my home depot card instead. Kim was very patient and reached out to a different department that could help me. My limit was increased and I was able to complete the purchase with 24 month interest free financing.
