Great Service, creative pricing
I was looking for a 50 quantity of Velcro ties and they had none on the peg. After a great Associate, Jazz, helped me look for them we could not find them. She offered a number of the smaller quantity packages for the same price as the 50 pack. Very creative and awesome assistance!!

Exceptional employee servie
I have used Home Depot as years as reliable, customer-centered store. I appreciated the generally well-stocked and easy to find items. I appreciate the free local deliveries of bulky items and the easy returns of items that were purchased in error. I appreciate the fact that employees are paid a decent wage and are not in competions for your patronage

Real people
The people working at the Home Depot in Corvallis are so nice and helpful. It feels like a nice experience to ask questions and get help by real people. Not some bot that answered a phone and never seems to really help at all. I am truly grateful for the service I receive.

Don't Trust The "Will Call" List
I paid money up front for lumber to be placed on the "will call" racks. Home Depot charged me for the lumber, but instead of putting the lumber in a protected area, the Pro Staff wheeled it back onto the floor. They only put one yellow sticker with my name on it onto the wood, so when I returned to the store, customers had pilfered all the wood except the piece with the sticker on it. Horribly inept on Home Depot's part. Then the clerks went to see if there was any more lumber fitting my description in the store, but there was not, and the staff said they had no idea when/if they would get any more. After offering me some truly yo-yo alternatives, the staff members agreed to give me a refund on the lumber, which took another half hour of time. All together, this escapade wasted more than two hours of my time. After that, I attempted to navigate the intricate Home Depot customer service loop, but after a pointlessly dumb interaction with the chat avatar and a customer service agent, I finally gave up.

Great Employees
I am on a trip with my travel trailer and had a section of my back closet cave in. I went to Home Depot to cut a piece to replace, and what I found wouldn't work to cut to the odd size I needed. An employee was so helpful finding me a good solid piece to cut and gave me a 70% discount as well. Every employee I passed smiled and asked if I needed any assistance. The cashier was new and pleasant. The store is very clean and well stocked. When I come back into the Corvallis, Oregon area, this is the Home Depot I will visit.
