Are Kids Workshops offered at the Costa Mesa Home Depot?

Yes, the Costa Mesa store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Registration for kids workshops is now available online and secures your spot at the event. Keep little doers engaged with a new kit pack for each event. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to order your kit.

How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?

Black Friday Visit

Cathy and I made our annual Black Friday trip to Home Depot. It was great to have them back. Jeff the manager and Jeanette didn’t outstanding job of making us feel welcome!

Went above (to infinity) and beyond !

Coach Donna is amazing and went out of her way to help my 5 yr old get new batteries that fit in his buzz lightyear toy. She installed them before leaving so he would be happy! Sometimes it's the little things that are big things in customer service. Made our day!

Horrible Customer Service

I went in there knowing, what item I needed. I just didn’t know the location of the item. I asked for assistance from the gentleman that was working 6/1/23 at 3:51pm on the west side of aisle 21 (Fastener aisle) I think it maybe be returns or pro customers. Explained that he’d get me help. Help never came. Usually whenever I ask for just a quick point in the right direction I’ve received the help I’ve needed or they promptly direct me to someone that knows what they are doing.

Customer service is almost non-existent

They need somebody working there beside tellers that know nothing. I stopped 3 workers, of which none could help me. All they could say is I’m on break, did you look over there, or how about outside. Do you think I’m an idiot? Of course, I looked in all the obvious places, that’s why I asking. The web site says you have 90+, so the item probably really is there. I just can’t find it and am asking for your help which you don’t want to offer. Today was a worst case but not too far off of what I typically experience. Even when I chase one of your employees’ down, your customer service is almost non-existent.

Lack of customer service

I ran in to pick up something quick and 2 grown male employees couldn't help with a simple request. When I asked for a manager to assist me of course one wasn't available. Who is running tiur store?????
