Home Depot stores sent approximately 5.3 million pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This has helped the planet by preserving over 63,500 trees, keeping over 16,000 trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saving over 50 million gallons of water, and conserving 7.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity.

Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on bathroom vanities?

Our bath sale runs from January 2nd through February 19th, and it covers so many items that you could also call it a vanity sale or a toilet sale. Don't forget to replace your bathtubs, showers, and bathroom mirrors to match. You can make the remodel even easier when you contact our pros for toilet installation or vanity installation — then all you have to do is admire your beautiful new bathroom.

Why should I get a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared for whatever circumstances life throws at you. Whether you're dealing with snowstorms, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements knock it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

How can I prepare my home for the winter?

Ready your home for cold weather by repairing or replacing broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be in for a real headache. Check cinder block and brickwork for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, examine metal roof panels or shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak into your home. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams. Lastly, change out vinyl siding and chimney caps if they're damaged.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window or peephole when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
