Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store cut energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives such as solar and wind.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

When's The Home Depot Toilet Sale?
Yes, toilets are on sale during The Home Depot Bath Sale that runs from January 2nd through February 19th. It's likely time to swap out your old toilet and get a stronger one that uses less water. Be sure to proceed with care if you're mounting a new toilet yourself, or contact our pros for toilet installation and remove any leak worries. While you're at it, consider replacing your vanities and bathroom mirrors as well to take advantage of these great deals.
Is The Home Depot having a Presidents Day sale?
The Home Depot is having a Presidents Day Appliance Sale from February 13th through March 5th. It's an excellent time to update those outdated appliances with brand-new ones. Check out deals on washers, dryers, dishwashers, and fridges, too. Shop on our mobile app or drop by in person to see select sale appliances at the store.
Why should I get a generator?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
What home repairs should I make before winter?
Ready your home for winter weather by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be in for a real headache. Check cinder block and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water leak into your home. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if damaged.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window or peephole when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
