Serving the community is important to us at The Home Depot. In an effort to fill the trades gap, The Home Depot Foundation is partnering with the Home Builders Institute to launch a joint program into high schools to provide an on ramp for students into trades. Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?
Yes, the Fairbanks store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am-noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. Keep little doers engaged with a new kit pack for each event. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check availability.
How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?
Gift cards to The Home Depot are an excellent choice for housewarming parties, birthdays, and the holidays. DIYers know these gift cards are fun to receive and to give. You can buy gift cards at our stores or online at homedepot.com. If you receive a gift card, you can check your gift card balance online or visit the Fairbanks Home Depot and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Does The Home Depot Fairbanks offer Curbside Pickup?
Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot App.
Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when you shop eligible Store Pickup items. We will let you know via email or text message when your order is ready at the store. Bring your valid, government-issued photo ID with you.
Picking up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" text message or email to tell us you're on the way via the app.
3. After you get to the store, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space, which is typically located near the front of the store.
4. Check in through the app to tell us you're here.
5. We will bring out your order and load it into your vehicle.
