Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Yes, the Fairfax store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. You may secure your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to order your kit.

How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?

Home Depot gift cards are a popular present for birthdays, housewarming parties, and the holidays. DIYers know these gift cards are fun to give and to receive. If you receive a gift card, you can visit the Fairfax Home Depot and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when you shop eligible Store Pickup items. We will let you know via email or text message when your order is ready at the store. Bring your valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

Picking up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.

3. After you arrive, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space, which is usually located near the front of the store.

Great cashier at Fairfax, Va location

Sales cashier Salvador at the Fairfax, VA store is absolute great, friendly, knowledgeable, courtesy. The item didn't scan correctly, he helped me out. Only wish there more of him at all location.

Outstanding customer service!!!

We had been searching local Home Depot stores for certain 2023 Halloween out decorations. We found them located still in storage at the Fairfax HD. John, the manager, Krista (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and another associate went above and beyond in looking up the items' SKUs, bringing down three large pallets and finding the items we were looking for so we could purchase them. Their exceptional customer service is really deeply appreciated!

Great experience

I had the best customer service experience at Home Depot today. I went to Hardware and Dave immediately asked what I was looking for to complete me project-I brought it with me. He helped me find the hardware I needed and showed me what needed to be done to make it work right. Dave was very helpful and really took interest in what I was trying to do.
