Never feel lost or alone in this store
I was greeted and asked if I needed help, silly me said no “I’ve got it”… well as I wasn’t sure where I would find my item, so I ambled aimlessly. Within a few minutes, another employee approached asked if they could help..this time I was smart enough to say YES.. He lead me right to the garage door openers, stayed while I made my decision(with his guidance. Asked if I needed anything else before he thanked me for choosing Home Depot, before he headed off to go back to where I found him… Great experience for this senior Citizen.. Thank You

Difficult to access
I travel almost exclusively via cargo bicycle year round, but accessing this store requires crossing a sea of mostly empty parking lot. I park in the areas near the "contractor" entrance to the store, rather than the tiny, hard to use bike rack located around the side of the store. I often carry more than anyone in a raised pickup truck leaving the store, yet there is minimal infrastructure to access the store in anything but a car. Hadley is a very unfriendly city to pedestrians and bike users, but the store could put effort into ensuring safer access for pedestrians, including actual sidewalks, rather than leaving us to fend for ourselves as men in raised pickups that have never seen mud speed through the lots.
(Also remember that HD actively union busts and lobbies against laws to provide employees healthcare. Only shop here as a last resort, there are local hardware stores nearby as well to favor.)

Found What I Needed
I was looking for The Pink Stuff, a fantastic cleaning product I'd seen advertised and wanted to try at home. The Home Depot was the only local place I found that actually had it in stock. So, already a solid score for finding the product I wanted. Then, there were actually live people at check-out points (I'm not a huge fan of self-checkouts!) and the person (Paula) who served me during my visit was such a friendly sweet lady. Had a very pleasant experience on my visit to Home Depot yesterday!
