Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Yes, the Janesville store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Registration for kids workshops is now available online and secures your spot at the event. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Store is conveniently located and they are patient with DIY, Handyperson

I needed to create a concrete foundation for my 10 x 10 feet Tuff Shed. I was able to find project videos and guidelines including calculators for the # of bags of 3/8 inch gravel and crack resistant concrete mix I would need as well as concrete tools, etc. on Home Depot online. Additionally, as a Handyperson & DIY I appreciate the same-as-cash financing options. Finally, as a veteran I appreciate that Home Depot provides discounts to military veterans year round unlike others and helps my fellow veterans and Veteran Service Organizations.

Excellent in-store customer service at both Janesville, and with Calan in Gurnee.

When I got my John Deere tractor home, it did not start. So I took it to the Gurnee store, and Steve in lawn and garden walked me through it and it turns out I was not pushing down hard enough on the break. After a very frustrating day yesterday, that was saved by Kayla and then being saved by Steve. It was just a great experience even though there was some frustration along the way.
