Our free Kids Workshops take place in-store every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. Registration for kids workshops is now available online and secures your spot at the event. Keep little doers engaged with a new kit pack for each event. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Almost walked out when I couldnt locate an Item. Judy, who was probably on her way for a break, stopped to answer my question and look for the missing item. She found it over head 4 aisles over and enlisted David to pull it down. I drove from Warrenton for this item and almost left when I couldnt find it.

Great customer service

I spend a LOT of time in hardware stores. I'm a die hard DIY guy in my spare time. Invariably I have to make lots of returns - because I bought more than I needed. Or bought the wrong thing. I almost always have a good experience at this HD. But today I had a bunch of random stuff to return, and a gentleman name Timothy made the experience so pleasant. He was helpful, patient, and thorough. In general I like Home Depot, but I really love this one - and they have really good people working there. That makes such a big difference!

Great selection at affordable prices

Considering that I could get the stuff cheaper in China, the shipping fees will be a killer, so after taking into everything into consideration, like prices, distance, ease of returns, speedy delivery, Home Depot is still on my top list for my DIY projects. Staff is always nice and even when they don't know something, they will help you find a person that knows what you are looking for. Now, I go there to get some decoration ideas and thew store never disappoints.
