Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store cut down energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like solar and wind.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

How do I pick a real Christmas tree?
Look for healthy green trees. A good quality real Christmas tree shouldn't lose many of its needles when you shake it, and the needles shouldn't look brown, dry, or patchy. Also, be sure to check that your tree is free of insects and disease, so examine any holes or knots in the wood carefully. We're your source for choosing the best real Christmas tree for your home.
Where can I buy tailgating accessories?
The Home Depot carries tailgating accessories so you can find what you need before the big game. Whether you're tailgating in the parking lot of the stadium or at home, remember to bring tailgating games and plenty of food. Check out our portable speakers and radios, too. Shop online now on our mobile app or drop by to see some tailgating gear at the store.
Are Kids Workshops offered at the Liberty Lake Home Depot?
Our free Kids Workshops take place in-store every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. You may secure your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Keep little doers engaged with a new kit pack for each event. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to order your kit.
How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?
Gift cards to The Home Depot are a popular choice for birthdays, housewarming parties, and the holidays. DIYers know they're fun to give and to receive. They can be purchased online at homedepot.com or in our brick-and-mortar stores. If you receive a gift card, you can check your gift card balance online or visit the Liberty Lake Home Depot and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Use our gift cards to shop online or redeem them in-store. There are no additional fees to worry about.
