Great, helpful employees!
The employees in the Monument, CO store are always friendly and helpful. I purchased LVP BOCA DE YUMA 2 years ago for my basement. The basement flooded this spring, floor still looks great, and stayed down. I went back today and purchased more.

Returning Items
I returned several plumbing parts without a receipt and the Home Depot representative, Dena found a way, on several old parts to provide me store credit. The owners/managers should be proud of Dena and her performance, she was a pleasure to work with.

Great Customer service
Went into the Monument store for plumbing and other needs for my home and the associate whose apron had the name MacGyver (really) on it greeted me in the plumbing department. He was Johnny on the spot in helping find the internals for by back flow for my sprinkler system and even suggested a great way to avoid it freezing up (I blow it out every year). He took the time to explain in detail in how to convert the back flow so I could remove it at the end of the summer.
I had some other items to pick up as well and asked him to point me in the direction they were located and he would let have anything to do with pointing me in the direction and took me to each item I needed. I can honestly say I’ve never received such personal attention from anyone in a Home Depot. It is evident that customer service is a priority to MacGyver and I would assume the store as well. They have definitely won me as a long term customer and I will and recommend you look up the MacGyver when you go into the store whether you need assistance or not.
P.S. the gentlemen’s name is actually John. The cashier explained everyone call him that because he does give up easily trying to find a solution to a customers problem..

Get what you need and then some!
Every time I visit this store I get great people and good service. It might take a minute on a busy day to get someone but I invariably have a great interaction and sometimes learn something depending on my project.

appliance install fail
Went in to purchase a washer and dryer to find they carried none in stock, but had their inventory at a warehouse that could be delivered a week out. They offered me free installation which I opted for. Unfortunately the first delivery date was a week out. When they finally delivered it they acted like they were in a hurry and delivered the appliances to my garage with no installation. When I called the store to work it out the 2 managers on duty I spoke with Brian (i believe) and Lance, they were belligerent and offered no real solutions. I would not recommend buying from them, go anywhere else for your appliance needs. I wish giving them 0 starts was an option.

Customer Service Above and Beyond!
Tori provided exceptional customer service. I needed a new battery for my garage door opener, and not only did she go pick up the battery but she offered to replace the old battery. Opening and closing the garage door opener was very tricky so I really appreciated Tori going above and beyond and providing this additional service.

Great employee…Kaylee
Kaylee, Home Depot Clerk, made a frustrating experience in to a memorable one as she took the time to look up the item I was looking for to find if they had it in stock and it’s location. This was after having to approach two other clerks who saw me but didn’t ask if they could help and when I approach them, I was sent to two wrong aisles (didn’t bother looking up item). Thank you Kaylee!!
