Yes, the N Kansas City store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. Keep little doers engaged with a new kit pack for each event. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Great Store

Wonderful employees and great service

Cooper helped me find special power tools in stock and offered to help me load my truck after checkout. He went out of his way to help me. I’ll return in the future for more home improvement materials and tools.

Good Experience

I went into the store the other day, specifically wanting to look at the electric lawnmowers. I found a man named Gary who said he would be happy to help me. He was knowledgeable too about the different lawnmowers. I ended up getting--not the cheapest electric lawnmower, but he pointed out that the one I picked out had power drive.

Excellent customer service

I was greeted by Cara and Juana at the pro desk. Cara called Jason to help with a key. Jason then searched multiple areas to find a mogul lightbulb adapter to replace the mogul light bulb that I needed to replace. Employees were friendly throughout the store.
