Are Kids Workshops offered at the New Freedom Home Depot?

Yes, the New Freedom store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. You may reserve your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to order your kit.

How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?

Gift cards to The Home Depot are an excellent present during the holiday season or for any occasion. DIYers know these gift cards are fun to give and to receive. If you receive a gift card, you can visit the New Freedom Home Depot and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Does The Home Depot New Freedom offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. using The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when you shop eligible Store Pickup items. We'll let you know via text message or email when your order is ready at the store. Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

To pick up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" email or text message to tell us in the app that you're on the way.

Disappointed in lack of help

I went to the store yesterday to get wooden planks to fix my fence. I’m only 5’4 and the two male employees acknowledged my presence so I know they saw me struggling to reach the 8ft planks and didn’t even offer to help me. I was so disappointed that I figured out how to get the wood on my tipped toes, rung myself up and left the store as fast as I could.

AWESOME HELP IN THE PAINT DEPARTMENT

A wonderful lady helped me with the stain that I needed to paint my wooden fence. She was so helpful and even suggested I buy the "kit" of brushes and rollers to save money.

Blue v Orange

Years back I started shifting my home improvement shopping toward blue. But over the last year, I’ve switched back to Big Orange. Did something change? I think so. HD has more of what I need , Knowledgable and friendly employees, and competitive pricing.
