Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Kids Workshops are free in-store events that take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. You may reserve your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check the availability of the kits.

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot App.

Friendliest Home Depot in the Universe!

I've just recently purchased an older home that we are completely remodeling. This is my first time doing this and I don't know what I would do without this store. The bonus is the staff that is so willing to help or find out the answer with you.

Just do it

I bought plants on this trip. They were nice & healthy.

Product available but damaged

Needed to buy a new riding mower. They only had 2 on hand of the manufacturer and model that I wanted and BOTH were damaged. Still had to pay the full $2k+ for it and they wouldn't even give me a courtesy trailer use for two hours to haul it home. Instead, I need to wait almost two weeks for the delivery. The cashier in the customer service area seemed very angry. The sale associate - Renee I think was her name - she was fabulous and very helpful. I've been buying less and less from The Home Depot over the years because the quality of goods and services there continues dropping as the prices increase.

Great place to shop

I’ve boughten so much stuff to remodel my kitchen and all the employees been extremely helpful. They are always around to ask their customers if they need any help finding things. They also make sure the customer finds what they are looking and make sure it is the correct item so that they don’t get the wrong item

Poor customer service

I am very unhappy with my experience at my local Home Depot. Everyone was super friendly as they always are. However, my husband wanted to buy a Carhardt hoodie that was marked on clearance for $33. Upon checking out, this item did not ring up on sale. We discussed this with a team member and they advised us that this burgundy color was not included in the clearance. I understand this happens. However, there were several of these color in the clearance section with no signage specifying it was not included. Team member did check with another associate to verify price and this associate proceeded to mention this has been happening. My husband and I have worked in retail management for many years and I currently still work in a customer service industry. This was very poor customer service in my opinion. Not once did anyone attempt to rectify this situation in any way. Very disappointing experience shopping at our local Home Depot which we typically enjoy so much.

I arrived around 8:15 am, 2 employees in tow, only to find out the lumber manager was on a 20 plus minute break. My day needs to get rolling and this is a disgrace when the store opens at 6.
