Yes, the Oxon Hill store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am-noon. Registration for kids workshops is now available online and secures your spot at the event. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check availability of the kits.

Exceptional Customer Service

I came into the store looking for three items specifically which was scattered all over the store. This wonderful employee who spoke Spanish and English immediately located the first item then onto the next item and finally the last item. It took him all but 5 ,ims and even gave me some tips to use with a tool. I was impressed to say the least. I am sure everyone knows this gentleman he was wonderful.

Amazing customer service at Oxon Hill from Niycole

I had 30 bags of 80lb concrete to load into my truck. Niycole approached and asked to help. She was extremely friendly and made the shopping experience very pleasant. Other employees as well as supervisors at Home Depot could learn a lot from her friendliness and willingness to help out. She did this without even being asked, and it definitely shows a very high level of professionalism from her. I will be returning to this store based on the experience she provided.

They are so great

I was so confused about what to purchase for a small project and was helped by two different associates who seemed to swoop in and rescue me. The fist helped me pick out what to purchase to sand down my banister and the other individual helped make sure the handrail fit in my car! Not to mention the checkout team member was so nice. Everyone was great. I often get asked why I got to home depot over Lowe’s since it’s closer but this is why!

People let's do better

The customers service here sucks. At 6 AM nor crowded but cashiers with attitudes because they have to checkout customers instead of self checkout. SHARONDA and co workers.
