What is the difference between compressor and thermoelectric cooling types?
Wine coolers have two types of cooling systems, compressor and thermoelectric. The compressor cooling type works like a standard refrigerator. It uses a vapor compression cycle to remove heat from the interior of the cooler. The thermoelectric cooling type uses an electrical current to regulate a cooler temperature. We carry 268 compressor wine coolers and 7 thermoelectric wine coolers. Check out one of our popular Wine Coolers, 24 in. Built-In 46 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Cooler with Temperature Memory Function.
