The SaltDogg SHPE1500 Electric Poly HopperThe SaltDogg SHPE1500 Electric Poly Hopper Spreader gives contractors and facility managers a low-volume hopper spreader ready for residential or commercial use. Electric power means quieter operation with no need for refueling or engine servicing. The durable 1.5 cu. yds. poly hopper features a patented double-wall construction. It fits a 3/4-Ton or 1-Ton pickup truck and uses a bulk salt or a salt/sand mix. The spreader features a 2-1/2 in. stainless steel auger and trough and a 200 lbs. capacity vibrator to keep material flowing. The auger will automatically reverse if it gets jammed, helping to clear the clog and restore flow. It's powered by an independent 1/2 HP, 12-Volt gear motor. A 14 in. polymer spinner, powered by an independent 1/4 HP, 12-Volt gear motor, can cast a 5 ft. - 30 ft. radius. The vibrator and auger/spinner speeds are controlled by a closed-loop, in-cab controller. Popular applications include pickup trucks like the Ford F-350 and F-450, RAM 3500 and 4500 and Chevy Silverado 3500 and 4500. The 1.5 cu. yds. spreader handles bulk salt or a 50/50 salt/sand mix. The PRO1500 features a patented double-wall poly hopper that won't rust or dent. Its full length, 5-3/4 in. steel variable pitch auger has an independent 3/4 HP, 12-Volt gear mot or and a stainless steel trough. A 200 lbs. vibrat or works in conjunction with the stainless steel inverted V to keep your material flowing. The 14 in. polymer spinner casts a 5 ft., to 30 ft. radius using its dedicated 1/2 HP 12-Volt motor. The adjustable chute swings away to make bulk unloading and compensating for different materials easy.
