What types of motors are available for products within Nail Guns?
Nail Guns can have a brushed, brushless or air motor, and the primary difference lies in the mechanism through which the motor powers the tool. Brushed tools use carbon brushes to power the motor mechanically. On the other hand, brushless motors do not have brushes and use an electronic circuit board with magnets to spin the rotor. Between the two, brushless motors last longer, require less maintenance and are also more efficient. The third type, air motor, produces rotary power from a compressed air system and is very powerful and energy-efficient. Within Nail Guns we carry 46 brushless models, 42 brushed motor models.
