The variety of sandpaper for drum and edger floor sanders far surpasses the other big box competition. The associates in the Tool Rental Dept., where the sandpaper is sold, are always helpful. When I checked out the lines were a little long so the associate at the Pro Desk, Alan, checked me out there. Excellent overall experience.

All I had to do was walk in and the first associate I saw asked if I needed help . Yes was my answer . Asked my question was given quick directions for product I was looking for and found it right away . In and out 10 minutes .

I find the store's location ideal for those of us who live in the City of Albany. The hours are convenient, the store is always clean and the associates are friendly and willing to assist with locating items. The associate in your plumbing department is extremely helpful and draws on many years of experience.

I wish I caught the mans name. Associate working the paint desk was very friendly, attentive, and answered any questions I had. I was able to see him interact with other customers and he was informative and reassuring. What a great experience. Had a similar experience with a different associate in the paint department.

I was new to the store, having recently moved to the area. I was warmly greeted at the door and found many friendly and helpful associates to aid me.

I should have gotten his name. The Associate wore a Vet cap. He happened to be in the area I was in. He saw me looking around and asked if he could be of assistance. He knew right away what I was looking for, walked me over, and I was good to go. I was in and out in about ten minutes using self checkout. A good shopping experience overall.

I was shopping for paint supplies and the sales person was quite knowledgeable.

I am a traveling salesperson and I need a flat plywood cart of mine overhauled- Mike in the tool rental department was a total angel. He helped me find new parts, salvage the old, and built me a new cart, out of the kindness of his heart. I didn't have tools or time on the road, and Mike & his knowledge and skills saved the day! Thank you, Mike, for being incredibly helpful and attentive. Thank you for helping me out, and for doing such a wonderful job. My sales cart is beautiful & new! Your skills & knowledge are so appreciated!

It's not one of my Favorite of Home Depot's, can't really put a finger on it, but there are others home depot's I enjoy more than this one.

when checking out and using my HD credit card, the new cashier would not give me the 5 percent discount in lieu of no interest for 6 months. She said her training told her that policy is no longer given as of 3 weeks ago. I told her that the day before yesterday I was given the 5%. She kept contradicting me, saying no sir, this and that. I told her I have always been given it when I ask for it. She said I had to show her a Lowes card to get it. Again I said no, not true., and she wouldn't budge. I didn't keep arguing with her. The purchase was only about 20.00 and my life is too short.

I shop there often. And became familiar with many of the associates there. Most of the time they have been very helpful and friendly at the same time. Occasionally I don't get the most knowledgeable associable but on the other hand, I come in with a solution, discuss with a very knowledgeable associate and return with a better solution to my problem. I call that good or even excellent....

CLERK WAS HELPFUL IN ANSWERING QUESTIONS IN GARDEN CENTER

Adam went out of his way to make sure we had the best customer service. The employees were helpful and courteous. We will definitely recommend this store to others.

On Friday, I had an eventful visit to your Albany NY store with my contractor, the culmination of an eventful day, which included visits to several Lowe's stores (long story). We ended up getting quite a bit of materials and renting a truck to get it to my house, but not without snags along the way. The most important point is that I had to have my insurance information faxed to the store in order to acquire a 75 min rental. Well, I ended up leaving my information with the clerk on duty that helped me, not realizing he would be gone by the time I would return from getting our construction materials. Before we actually left the store, and when I returned, I asked the new clerk about my information, but he seemed to not really care either way, and gave me a rather dismissive no about seeing my information. After I returned the truck and was waiting for my wife to arrive, I mentioned my concerns about my information to Darlene DeMarco, who quickly went over to the recycle bin, and dug for and located my information. She showed me, and assured me that all was well. You see, Ms DeMarco had history with me =). When we first came in, my contractor, who is limited in English, was asking her for help, and of course, there was a problem in the translation. He requested and got help from someone who did speak Spanish, who was very helpful as well. He stuck with us throughout the process till he was sure our objectives were met before he left. He also deserves recognition for his efforts, and his name is Herbert. If you need help, look for him. Short in stature, but BIG where it counts, quality service. He took the time to explain everything that was going on to both of us through the process, including me having to get my insurance information faxed because my document in my car was not current. So make sure that you have a valid one if you intend to rent a truck. Ms DeMarco also showed me the fax number i needed to give my insurance company to send the documents i needed, and also shared some information about pro accounts, which I now know is her area of expertise. But to me, proving my personal information was safe was the most important act of this trip, and was like icing on the cake. My contractor stated he preferred the chain of stores, and now I do too. Darlene and the guy behind the rental counter who was kind enough to reset our timer on the rental whilst my contractor took his time to get all those materials and Herbert are to blame. Just not Everett. When I asked him about my documents, twice, he acted like it didn’t matter. Lucky for him, he had a good team around him, and they saved the day. Trust me, if you need stuff, they got it, and the team to help you get it, even though hiccups.

I have to purchase items for work and I don't always know what the best product or process it. ALL the associates here ask me questions and tell me what is the Ok, Better and Best items to get so I can decide what we need. They do not just give you the most expensive option and walk away. When I need paint I always get helpful, friendly service that suits what I need. Thank you!

By far the best of the Home Depot chain in the Capital District. Not only are many of the employees knowledgeable, but they treat you as if your more than just a customer. However, im not to happy with the women at the customer service desk. They almost never smile, or even greet you as you approach the counter. Other than that, I love shopping at this location. the managers are doing a great job and the store is very easy to navigate.

I came there with the intent to return an item that I over bought for the job I was doing. Will saw me looking at the grills, came out to me,greeted me,and sold me a grill that I didn't intend to buy. He didn't force himself on me in any way at all. When I got home my family was happy to throw out the old grill and put the new grill in place. We have a funny humerus habit of naming articles in our house. The name my kids gave to grill is Will the grill. He is a good asset to your company. Keep up the good work Will
