What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. Poor Service
I walked all around the store to find a rooftop tv antenna. I asked an associate where they were. He sent me to the wrong aisle. I left without it. The last time I was in the store the cashier at the contractors desk was too busy having a personal conversation with another employee to bother checking me out. No contractors were waiting to be served and the other cashiers had multiple customers in line. His was the first line I came to on the way out of the lumber aisle. He couldn't be bothered and sent me to wait in another line rather than serve me.

Great customer service
I needed to buy wooden slats for a bed. I did not know what to expect when I came to the store. Abraham assisted me throughout the process of selecting the wood and cutting it to the required length. This was a great experience for someone with limited knowledge in home improvement.

MOST HELPFUL EMPLOYEES AT ANY HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE.
I walked in the door and a gentleman named John asked if he could help me. I had a remote for some lights at home and was unable to open the compartment, John took me to the Hardware Department, tried a couple different sizes of Phillips screw drivers until he found the right size. He then opened the battery compartment, walked me over to the batteries and found the correct size, After doing all of that for me he still asked if I needed anything else. When I went to the Customer Service desk to tell them how helpful he was I found out he actually worked in Plumbing. You wouldn't find that kind of service at Lowe's.

Paint Department
I had the most wonderful experience today shopping in the Anaheim store. I needed some paint but couldn't find the exact color. Ruth was so helpful and through her assistance got the color and brand of paint I needed. I definitely will go back to this store again for all my home repair needs. Ruth is a great example of A+ customer service.

I got a row of staples clogged up in my Arrow T-50 staple gun. i tried various things at home to try and unclog it. I saw Chris in Hardware and asked him if he had any ideas. He took a look at it, then began try ing various means and tools. He spent about 15 minutes on it, and like me, he just didn't give up! He even found a way to take it partially apart. He got the offending staples out - and was simply awesome! Then he took me around to another aisle and showed me which staples were the right size for the job I was doing! By fixing my staple gun, he saved me having to buy a $15 replacement! I was very grateful for his time, peristence, and terrific attitude! That kind of help really sticks in one's mind for going back to that particular store!

Great Experience
When I didn't find associate. Manager herself helped me find the product and calculate right amount of materials needed for my job. She was very courteous, knowledgeable. Even her associate at register stayed one hour more to complete my order even though he had family emergency. Both were extremely helpful and walked extra mile to provide excellent customer service to me. They both are great asset for Home Depot. Their services are highly gratified.
