This Home Depot store is the best I've ever been to hands down. In fact it's the best retail store that I've ever been to in My Life from walking in the door to the bathrooms! I just moved here a month ago and I was working on a project that I needed supplies for. I'm kind of a tool junkie and I really love hardware stores. I never expected this kind of treatment. The other Home Depot stores have employees that do everything they can to avoid being asked a question. And they let you know how they feel. Don't ask. The complete opposite here. And the bathroom was spotless much to my shock! I had a wonderful discussion with the cashier and then with one of the employees named Joy to hollered across the parking lot to see if I needed help. And I did. What is sweet is that Joy is also my mother's name, and she embodied that sweet name. I will always go back to this Home Depot.

Needed a gas powered trimmer before they go extinct. Joy was a huge help and very friendly

This store has some great employees working here! Kind hearted and very helpful and also great attitudes! My last visit April 15, 2024 my cashier Jennie was so kind and very helpful! She was such a sweetheart and seems to do her job well and cares for the people she helps! She's a great employee! Top of the line service! I grew up in Southern California and lived in three other states. I have frequented every Home Depot wherever I have lived. I have to say that this Home Depot is the friendliest and most helpful Home Depot I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My mom and I bought a really old fixer upper mobile and have purchased everything we needed here. I am so happy I moved into this area and my new Home Depot is the Atascadero store.

Bought a washer so contemporary and sleek in style.

I selected average only because I have had some difficulties with customer service in the past. However, Randy in plumbing was patient, reasonable, kind, and he took the time to listen to what I needed, and made sure that I had everything I needed before I left the store. Randy did not treat me differently because of the color of my skin, I had such an experience in the store from other representatives especially those in supervisory positions. It is because of Randy that I take this time to do something that I barely really do, and that is leave a review.

Great personnel, service, friendly place

Found what I needed and more for the project I was getting ready to do.

I found EXACTLY what I was looking for a good price.

Pricing on shelves is wrong, cashiers are poor, lines are long, and stock is limited. Not my favorite place, but necessary for home repair.

Bought a new water heater in February 23, installed it and then found out it was incorrectly boxed and not propane fitted, took it back and received correct one and now it is not working 5 1/2 months later . Keep in mind my husband is doing all the labor himself and he water heaters are not light to carry. Contacted Justin at Atascadero Home Depot and he made this bummer of a situation much better immediately by excellent customer service and going out of his way to accommodate us

When ever I need building supplies i rely on Home depot for many of our many home projects, Sydney, Molly, and Brook are tremendous staff as well ty HD sincerely Jim

I've noticed over many years now that store staff truly strives to help. Furthermore, they are usually available and usually knowledgeable. And if someone doesn't have the answer, they quickly call somebody who does. Staff seems to really want to help you and that makes the store feel very friendly.

Dawn, Sydney, and Diane are the dream team! Always helpful, super knowledgable, and fast.

I've been to this Home Depot many times and the associates have always been very warm and friendly to me - and to my dog.

Excellent staff. Sydney and Megan are a dynamic duo. Charming, whitty, gracious, always helpful. Very easy on the Eyes. Their smiles beam like the morning sunshine.
