When it's time to leap into a big DIY project, you might not have everything you need to get the job done. Don't let that stop you when you can stop by The Home Depot Bridgewater Tool and Truck Rental Center.
Tool Rental
Start your next home improvement project with confidence and the best tools for the job. Let The Home Depot Bridgewater Tool Rental Center fill in the gaps in your toolbox with the tools you don't have at home. Rent what you need and bring them back when you're done. In fact, if you found the tools so useful that you didn't want to return them, we have used tools available for purchase. The retired rental tools are discounted compared to the new items in our aisles.
Make Painting Easier with Ladder and Scaffolding Rentals
Beautiful spring days are a great time to take on outdoor painting projects. Make surfaces look new again with a fresh coat of paint. Whether you need rental ladders for painting fences, scaffolding rentals for painting a shed or home, or a rental paint sprayer for professional coverage, we've got what you need.
Add Insulation When the Weather Is Cooler
For a more energy-efficient home, refresh your insulation in the spring, if possible, before it gets dangerously hot in your attic. Rent specialized equipment for insulation to install it correctly. Choose from a cellulose insulation blower or a fiberglass blower, and insulate those nooks and crannies with ease. You'll enjoy steadier utility bills and a more consistent home temperature with new insulation.
Truck Rental
To move large tool rentals or anything else, we keep pickup trucks as well as Penske moving trucks on hand, with availability varying by store. You're sure to find the right size truck rental for your DIY project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your trusted source for packing, storage needs, and DIY projects, it's easy to make us your go-to source for transport and moving, too.
To get tools and transportation for your DIY or home improvement project, check out The Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental Center in Bridgewater. Having the right tools for the job makes a difference. We're your one-stop shop to get from doing to done.
How do I rent a tool or a truck?
Stop by your local Rental Center to see what's available. If you'd like to know what's in stock, call first to inquire about a truck or tool. You could also check out our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is offered at your local store. For more information on renting tools, read our Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions. All truck rentals and larger tools require CLEAR verification.
Can I rent a truck for a few hours?
Rent a truck or cargo van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you must return it to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to check out the contract and the terms and conditions before you choose a truck.
When do I return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you finish your project sooner than predicted, but on time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need it longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you purchase your own. Your rental likely won't come with a new blade. However, you might get lucky and receive an excellent blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
Do I need to refill the rental truck with gas?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Note the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. If you don't, you have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Be ready for CLEAR verification and the requisite selfie. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so review those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
