When does The Home Depot Labor Day Savings Event start at my local store?

Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?
Kids Workshops are free in-store events that take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am-noon. Kids Workshop kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to check the availability of the kits.
How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?
The Home Depot gift cards are a popular choice during the Holiday season, with givers and doers that can be purchased in-store at our brick-and-mortar stores or online at homedepot.com. If you are a recipient, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Our gift cards can be redeemed in-store or used to make purchases online with no additional fees.
What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

Does The Home Depot Brinkman offer curbside pickup?
We deliver curbside and you can order online for convenient store pickup daily until 6 p.m. Here's how:
- Buy Online and choose the "Store Pickup" option on the product page or in your cart.
- Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email or text message letting you know that it's ready to pick up.
- Go to designated Curbside Pickup location at The Home Depot store you selected and follow the instructions received in your email or text notification for Curbside Pickup. Let us know you have arrived by selecting the link in your "Order Ready" communication. Remember to bring your identification.

Buying a washer and dryer
Eduardo was very helpful when looking at a front loading washer and dryer. He knew the brands, how they stacked since i'm replacing a stacked single unit, and didn't pressure.
Every time I've been to the store it's clean and there is never a lack of help.

I had a problem with a gift card. The resolution was slow and took two days and hours on the phone. The store employees were trying to be helpful, but they were apparently tied up with company restrictions on fixing problems. I would strongly suggest not buying Home Depot gift cards, especially from third parties. The store cannot handle problems with them effectively. I cannot complain about the employees, but this whole situation was too hard to deal with.
