Great store neat clean and friendly service. Used this store for bathroom remodel and it was absolutely perfect.

This store location is special due to the excellent customer service I experienced with Robert. He went above and beyond searching for a solution to a question. He kept digging and didnt stop at the first fail. After inquiring about a deal on levels he lead us to that department to search with us. Then he checked with the specialist in that area and that employee briefly scanned the area and declared it was not present. Robert then went to another employee and searched in another possible location. He still was not discouraged. He then lead us to the computer and looked online to verify. We ended up not finding what we had seen at another location, in which Robert even asked if we wanted him to check with that store to see as well but it didnt matter that we didnt find what we were looking for, it was Robert's time, patience, and determintation that was so admirable in which lacks in today's poor customer service world. This was a true display of what customer service should be like. Thank you Robert!

I would like to say that the employees were very personable and had my best interest in mind . And they were ready to help in any way they could.

i was spoke to when i walked in to this store. I had an issue a few weeks ago and the manager handled it in a positive way. The last time i was in the store i was spoke to right away. The employees was very helpful and the manager was very nice and spoke to me like i counted. Though at times i have had not such a good trip, like in the stove and refrig. department. It is like i was not even there. There was a young lady that was not in that department that was helpful and funny. She would speak to me each time she see me. But i feel the people in the stove and frig. department should be more attentive to customers. But over all i will shop at this store again. Just not for a stove or frig.

The hardware dept was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure I got the necessary locks and proper keying I needed. Steve was extremely helpful and totally professional. I had to go to this store because the Hickory store on Hillcrest refused to re-key locks for me because it seemed like it was too much trouble for them to provide this valuable service.

I think about it. Or is one of the best stores that is in the Hampton Roads location I really like when I go to the store and they help for assistance that are there I think that quality of customer service is excellent I will always as a contractor continue to shop there by my products and materials I will always recommend this Home Depot so that others may go there and feel as welcome as I do

Great store. Service was exceptional. An associate named Dwayne went above and beyond to help me find an item that I have been unable to find anywhere else. Definitely will shop there again.

This is a well managed store with a excellent staff of employees. Obviously striving for excellence. I would refer Chesapeake Home Depot on Battlefield blvd to everyone. I would also add that Home depot gives a military discount

It's sad that so many smaller hardware stores have gone out of business because of Home Depot. Usually at the smaller stores, the staff was willing to assist you to find what you need. At this Home Depot, all the staff does is walk around and avoid eye contact with customers. The only people that they seem to be willing to help are contractors, who already know what they want. Not only do I find the staff at this store to be unfriendly, they are rude! You have to practically knock someone down to get assistance and then if they have to help you, they seem to resent it.

Ran into a dispute over a return of an Echosmart LED bulb. Even though the bulbs have a 5 year warranty the HD store on Tintern St in Chesapeake would not fully honor it. They would only refund me the last sales price even though I had a receipt for the full purchase price. The Operations Manager had the final say over the matter. VERY DISAPPOINTED

I feel like that the store was under staffed, and when I was looking for help there was about 10 people up front talking. The staff is rude except for some and there is no one to help you when you go to certain departments..

I am looking to update the appliances, counter tops, and back splash in my kitchen. My recent experience at The Home Depot was very positive. I will definitely visit this store again, and will probably make some big purchases. The store was neat and clean, and the major appliance representative was very helpful.

I purchased a refrigerator and the employee who helped me out, Dallas, was amazing. Great person, great employee, and I was very satisfied all around. My only reason for not giving five stars is the fridge is backordered over a month longer than the same model at Lowe's. I would have gone back across the street to Lowe's and had it delivered the next day except I was just feeling lazy, which I do regret now. There should be a gift card or other compensation for this competitive edge and gaining/keeping/holding customer loyalty, but oh well. Dallas made it worth it.

Excellent service and project support received from this store!

I've been going to this Home Depot since the day it opened. And that's quite a long time! Yet, each and every trip I'm greeted by friendly, professional service without fail. I've tried the other major competitors out there and keep coming back to this Home Depot. Why? Well, let me tell you. You see, I went to the "other store with the blue logo," and was appalled at how much more the items cost, but what really turned me off was the fact that almost every cashier was busy on their phones checking their social media. One even made me wait while she posted on her Snapchat posts! Yes, I watched her! And yes, I haven't been back since. Now, just for comparison, I went back across the street to the Home Depot that very same day and went to the register to buy the same product (15% less expensive I might add) and was greeted at the door by the customer service desk staff with a friendly, "hello," and, "welcome to The Home Depot." I grabbed my item and went to the first cashier to check out. By the way, I do NOT use the self-checkout line as I feel those things are taking away good paying jobs to people who want to work. Anyway, the cashier made eye-contact, said, "hello," and, "did you find everything okay," and swiftly cashed me out and wished me a good rest of the day. There was no sign of a cell phone anywhere near her and, just for comparison purposes, walked behind all the cashiers and what do you know; not a single phone distracting the staff! Great work and great leadership!

Thanks to Ms.Cheryl Turner my family and I are enjoying our new GE Fridge as well as washer & dryer...She was such a pleasure & very knowlegdeable on the products & warranties.

This is not the closest Home Depot to where I live but I find it to be the best one in the area. It always has what I need in stock. Additionally the rental staff is a big help. Michael was specifically helpful in pointing out some things that made my the job I was doing much easier. Thanks Michael. Additionally the rental shop staff seemed to have a very good working relationship with one another.
