Worst shopping experience ever, cashier had an attitude and also many other employees

I shop at the Downey Home Depot my household and gardening needs. Anytime I ask an employee for assistance to locate and item or answer questions regarding an item, they are pleasant and helpful. The employees in this store make shopping at Home Depot worthwhile!!!

This particular time was not a good rating. Took over 1/2 hour to get material taken from top racks when it should have been available at bottom shelf. Then associate wanted to take the 14 cases to register & to load my car but started helping other customer right after bringing items down & I waited for him but it took too long & I told him I'm going to check out please come soon. It took over another 1/2 hour after checking out for him to come to load my material - when I could have easily taken the cases on my flat cart & paid & left! Checkers called associate 4 times with no answer & even calling the manager - there was no answer! Bad customer service. If associate is helping me then he should stay with me & not help another customer. This visit gets a bad rating! Again mostly bad customer service from flooring department, not from the cashiers.

The team at Home Depot is always helpful. Questions, concerns, need help with a project? There’s always someone who knows how to guide you. The store is well maintained (safety in mind) and team members are always attentive. This is my go-to for home projects and creative ideas my “Bob the Builder” hands can think of. Thanks Team!

I went and bought a refrigerator, I paid $2,022.91 for it, and I love the fridge. My issue is the salesman said if I paid $25 they would haul away my old refrigerator after I bought a new one. I paid the $25, and they delivered my new fridge, but told me there was no room on the truck for the old fridge, and that it wasn't on their order form for them to haul away my old one. I verified it wasn't on their order form, but it was on mine. the delivery man explained to me that if I called Home Depot, they will schedule a pick up. I don't know who forgot what, but someone didn't do their job, now I have to haul it away myself. when I called home depot, I spoke to Manager and he refunded my money immediately, I told him I don't want my money back, I want them to haul away the fridge. He explained to me there is nothing he could do because Home Depot uses a third party delivery service and they won't come back to haul away my fridge. I am not happy at all about this shopping experience, this was terrible and I am frustrated because there is nothing I could do. I will start shopping at other appliance stores, and I will tell everyone I know not to go to Home Depot, especially the Downey location. The fridge was what I wanted, but I could buy it anywhere, there is nothing tying me to Home Depot. If anyone at home Depot wants to reach out to me and talk about what happened, you have my information and I am available. Also, if any part of what I wrote isn't true, or isn't what occurred, I would love someone to contact me about it so we can discuss it.

RUDE, careless, unknowledgeable employees, when you can locate one. Low stock. I had not been in this store in about 10 years. Now I remember why. The only reason I went there was because I could not locate what I needed elsewhere and I needed the materials that day. Lesson learned. Never again.

This location is always clean and organized which makes it easy to find products I am looking for, but the staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Extremely bad service today. I was insulted the entire time by the Cashier Jasmine and she would not stop talking over me and just listen to my explanation. She would look away at my explanation and not even comprehend what i was saying, she just kept telling me how wrong i was. When a manager came, the manager agreed with me 100% that i was right. Jasmine didn't apologize , she didn't thank me for shopping, she just looked away from me and she had moved my cart 2 aisles down and told me "go get your cart" . Just the absolute worst experience, treated poorly and made feel like Home Depot trains their employees to assume the customer is wrong. I told her an apology goes a long way and she still refused to apologize, instead she still acted stubborn and told me "she was doing her job" , last time i checked, your job is to service the customers.

Remarkably great customer service

My husband and I were at this home depot over the weekend. We ask an associate about weed kill....the associate was very helpful. He took us where product was and also made conversation about our day. He even asks our names. It was such a pleasant experience.

I would give zero stars if possible. The delivery service for their appliances are terrible. They show up outside the delivery window time and if no one is their outside that window they don't deliver. Taking my business elsewhere.

Associates are very rude, they don't want to help customers.

Cashier Donna and the female manager who worked on the night of 01/15/21 DEFINITELY NEED PAY RAISES. Awesome customer service from them and they nailed it 5 of 5 stars. Extremely helpful friendly and intelligent young ladies. Customer service doesnt get any better than what they offered.

Customer service is HORRIBLE! An employees that works in lumber that has a accent wouldn’t grab my items off the shelf bc “that isn’t my department and i hurt my toe”.

found the products easily the servuce is good the sote is clean and safety.

Employees are not knowledgeable in their department nor do they have enough for a department. Went in for assistance in Hardware and spent over 20 mins before I had to hunt someone down myself; spent another 20 mins waiting for assistance in Millworks with windows and a patio door and not a single associate came. The others that walked by did not even acknowledge me or asked if I needed assistance. Such terrible customer service
