What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Not only did they have hot chocolate for the kids, they had someone to help tie the tree to the top of the car. The friendly employees made this yearly event so much fun. We always make it a game with the kids on what tree we decide on... and the employees made it that much more fun with the final decision!! Wonderful memories were made this year... This was my favorite Home Depot until I witnessed an associate being extremely rude and disrespec...
This was my favorite Home Depot until I witnessed an associate being extremely rude and disrespectful to another associate. The associate completely humiliated the younger associate after he asked a question by yelling at him and telling him "not to ever interrupt him". The customer laughed while the embarrassed associate (DeAndre) looked mortified. DeAndre was so embarrassed that he walked out of the store.
Also, when asking an associate for assistance with a product, the associate looked over my shoulder and asked another gentleman if he could help him. Fortunately, the gentleman said he would wait until he finished with me. I was a bit appalled because I was not expecting either of these behaviors from the associates. I know that these are difficult days that we are facing; however, kindness should not be left out of any interaction. I will never shop at that Home Depot again.

People to look for
If you are going for electrical talk to Joel. If you are going to the garden section. Talk to Derrick. There is another woman in garden that is a master gardner but I forgot her name, she is also a great help. And there are a few other great guys and gals there that really know their stuff. No matter what, most are friendly and happy to help best they can. I am a real annoying, constant difficult problem, kind of know to much customer and they are nice to me. I am demanding and bossy but they handle me in stride. That's how I know this is a good store. They also high five. Test it. You will see. Great store because of the people.

Lack of communication
One simple call from the store could of saved me two hour in travel and project work at home. Three times I was in the store before friday and had given my phone number to people in charge with the thought that someone would of called when i got there they solved the problem but I had to drive an extra 25 miles in rush hour traffic if called I would of missed that traffic.
