How can I prepare my home for summer?
Make certain your home is equipped for summertime temps by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from entering your home. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets in the crevices, you could be looking at a problem.
Do you carry large moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?
Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on 6/6/26. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cute pint-sized soccer field. Constructing this tiny soccer game, reminiscent of the full-size tables, is a great way to hone fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
