So I had called about returning some wood that they had told me would be good to use for external use. They were fine with it as long as I had a receipt. I did. It had not even been a month well the wood started to weather with the heavy rains. I was shocked to see that the wood was going bad with just a few days of rain. I’m an educator. Not a contractor. I don’t know too much about the types of woods to purchase so I ask. Well I live about 30 miles away from the store, and bring wood in. Then a customer service rep named “Ginger,” tells me “you didn’t buy that here.” And, “I’m not going to return that.” I nicely told her “ma’am I called, and they said as long as I had my receipt. She sternly said “you’re lying,” and “it can’t be returned since its weathered.” Mind you I had bought not even a month ago, and the people I had asked before said it was good to use for a ramp. I wasn’t making it up. So she called the manager after I asked her to call. She was persuasively saying “I wouldn’t return it in this condition,” and saying things like “they didn’t even buy from here.” Which is totally not true because it still had the tags from the store and I had the receipt. Embarrassed by this point because there were at least 30 people in that area waiting in lines to check out. Thankfully Jeff was nice enough to tell her to return it there where she was. She then says “I’m not returning this here because there is a line, so you’ll have to go to the front.” Then she says “next time study your woods before you make a purchase.” Out loud for all to here in that area. By this time I’m furious. So I loudly say, “next time keep your mouth shut and do your job.” Not sure where they hire these people but my dad swears she was being racist since he was there listening to the whole thing.

This is based off my most recent visit on Mother's Day. Although the website stated they had 45 of the dryer plug in stock that I needed, when I got there, i couldn't find them. The employee I found to help was very snooty and told me if they weren't where I had just looked then they must have sold out of them overnight. Overnight? 45 of them? So I kept looking & eventually found them on the other side of the store. I did go back and let her know that I found the 45 cords that they were "sold out" of. Wanted a plant for Mother's Day, all that was left was broken remnants. None of the employees that I saw were wearing masks and all of them acted like they did not want to be there.

Hardware and electrical employees were very rude. They need to stop profiling and stick to the job in hand.

I have to say that the mid-to older ages female employees at this store go above and beyond the help you They won’t give up, and they never quickly (almost running) run and hide down empty aisles!!! Like the young boys this Home Depot employs. They are always friendly and courteous, the young folks behave as if I’m bothering them, and talk to each other above my head every dam time I’m inline with one of them ! Poor. Training of their young employees !

Everyone was very helpful. They did their best to assist me in a timely manner. The resulting order was finalized and processed easily because of their efficiency and product knowledge.

was pleasantly surprised at how employees maintained a steady safe flow to get in home depot and getting out. Considering the pandemic we are in ..things flowed nicely at home depot all employees seemed to be nsync. Good job Home depot employees!

Needs to keep up with inventory.

It is very difficult to get help when needed and when found employees are not in the best of mood and customer service satisfaction does not seem to matter. Other than that issue store is fine.

I just bought the 5x10 Kavanaugh trailer. It had to be set-up before I could hook up and take it home. Jennifer was the one who took it upon herseld to get my trailer ready for me (they were short staffed). She did an excellent job! I really like the trailer and the price was great too. Thanks.

Store was relatively clean however the cashier Paula had an attitude problems and needs to go back to school and learn some manners. She has no reason working as a cashier unless management is fine with her being rude to customers. I observed herod the same thing to the person I front of me as well. Bad job Paula.
