i bought online as new items got to store to pick up they brig out beat up items with dents in them no box . i said i don't want dented for the $900+ i was spending they told me i bought floor model , no i did not i bought new . so i got a refund and drove a hour to Fayetteville people in Fayetteville had no issue with giving me new in the box that i was paying for would avoid the ft smith store at all cost very poor management

My 10-year-old son is an aspiring builder. We often check out the cull lumber to find materials for him to build his latest fort, doghouse, or whatever it may be. The folks in the lumber department are very accommodating and let him take measurements and be selective in the lumber he chooses. They’ve even loaned him gloves and measuring tapes to encourage his exploration of the building arts.

I always find what I need or want in ft smith home depot store.

Bought Vigoro Creekstone for dry 62 sq ft dry creek bed. Bag directions say multiply sq ft by .33 to get number of bags. 23 bags would no cover area with a single layer of stone. Had to buy 6 more bags. This problem might be caused by the amount of dirt in each bag. I had about 5 lbs of dirt in each bags and one had 10 lbs. since the project had a drain in it, we had to dump the rock into a wheelbarrow and separate the dirt from the rock. Very time consuming. Next time I’ll buy bulk from a local garden center.

They don’t carry any finish nailer for my gun

This store is a little disorganized. Two items I needed they did not stock. They always have my walkway stone. The garden center was especially helpful.

I usually love HD, especially for lumber and building components. But Saturday night around 6:30 the lumber section was cluttered with pallets and half filled abandoned lumber carts and orange gates blocking isles with no HD employees around. The metal fence post shelfs were empty and had to climb on top of pallets to get cedar 4x4 posts down. no pricing on shelf either. If I had known I could leave pics here I would have taken some. Sorry for the bad review, I leave good reviews when I have good experiences but this just wasn't one of them.

Over the summer, I purchased an oven. My oven had gone out, so I needed one quickly. For some reason, they ended up not getting to deliver it on the date I was given. I called to ask about it, and they gave me a 10% refund for my trouble. Time rolls on, and now at the end of October, I had forgotten all about it. A nice lady from Home Depot called me to tell me I had not yet gotten my refund. She said all I needed to do was take the card I’d used for the purchase in to a Home Depot store, and they would credit the amount back to me. It only took about 5 minutes in the store to get my credit. I can’t believe they called me instead of just leaving it alone and hoping I’d forget. Great way to do business!

The staff at this Home Depot (1404) in Fort Smith, AR is always helpful and ready to answer even the most stupid questions my wife and I may have.

Every employee was very helpful and nice! Will definitely keep shopping there!

Needed new flooring installed, Davey was very helpful in helping us select the flooring and processing the install. He graciously answered many questions and phone calls.

The employees are very helpful. My only complaint is you have to check yourself out.

Never stocked, never staffed, always out of what you’re looking for and certainly no one to help you locate anything.

The employee at this location, Jeff, in plumbing, helped me incredibly and a lot and was such a great guy that I actually had a great time spending 30 minutes to figure out how to fix my house's main water supply, an incredibly stressful and tumultuous job. Jeff 500% deserves a meaningful raise in pay for his knowledge, customer service, and overall awesome aura. They were all super helpful. Even the pay at the checkout moved the umbrella to the cash registers, which helped a lot considering the flood conditions. She made them at least an extra $200 that day. Jeff made home Depot an extra $350. Home Depot needs to value their employees and I hope they reciprocate their efforts with a fair raise.

There are only a couple employees at this store who genuinely seem to care about the customers and they jobs. A man named Rob is always helpful. S well as a gentleman named Tom (though i haven’t seen him in quite some time) chime to think of it several of the explores which were helpful like Brad and Anthony have been seen in a long while (they are two department managers). But don’t go in this store much any more because there’s always low quantities of products and what there is is usual poor quality as well (lumber).

Good selection of plants & tools!

We’ve made a lot of purchases for multiple projects from this Home Depot store and the customer service here has always been wonderful! Everyone we’ve received help from was extremely helpful and if they didn’t have an answer for us they found someone who did. We’ve done big projects from tile floors to countertops and smaller projects like painting to mid sized projects like landscaping. If what we needed wasn’t in the store we found it online and have never been disappointed.

If you are a "frequent flyer" for things a Home Depot would sell, then you should know and appreciate this store to be one of the better places to go, in fact usually my default / preferred destination.

long lines and workers not able to handle the customers needs.

Stopped in Saturday and only two of the four self check-out were working and probably 10-15 customers in line. Not a pleasant check-out

While big box stores aren't known for their great customer service, today was an exception. Rhili at the Pro Desk was the epitome of great customer service and Terry in Millworks was right there with her. I probably spend $40k per year at HD but usually only when my local lumber yard can't get what I need or can't get close to HD on price. But these two, especially Rhili, made it seem like I was at my local yard.

Had to stand in line 3 different times to return and buy product. Needs to be done at one location with one representative

The staff here are very helpful and have saved me a lot of time trying to find what I needed. Self checkout is fast and easy and the cashiers are right there if you need help.
