PROS. Product selection is unmatched, they offer military discount, store hours are very convenient, competitive pricing, Current Manager Raymond G, has been very helpful. CONS. You can pass almost all floor associates without them greeting you. Items aren't restocked nightly (shelf can be empty for days even when the HD app shows available quantity), if you find an associate to help you, they usually answer " oh sir that's still in the container, it just arrived. You can comeback". I had my worst customer service experience come from a long time employee who worked his way up to manager. He scolded me like I was employed by him. Too funny.

Very good staff accomodation and any tools you want is present only money is not available...(*_^)...

This store I can needed items for the corona virsus like laundry soap, light bulbs, planters vase, potting soil, batteries, car wash, and other household cleaning supplies, but this time I couldnt find paper towel store was out. With this disease people would go there and the supplies needed and walk out the door. This trip I was able to use the lane where you run items on your own and out I left the store. Tomorrow I will try to go back and hope to find some.

Home Depot on Guam has provided me with the convenience of "one stop shopping", wide space shopping and easy view of merchandise, and, especially veterans discount on a fixed income.

Don't promise a delivery time and have customers wait and wait. No one called to explain why they couldn't make the scheduled delivery.

Store offers quality tools and materials at a decent price that other businesses can't compare to. Plus materials are stored indoors which is vital especially when dealing with the elements here in Guam.

when in need of a bottom load dispenser and it being the last item available on the floor we were able to get the quick assistance we needed. We found what we came for, there was a minor discrepancy but with the help of Marcus, the Head Plumber and the cashier (Jessica) we were able to walk away as satisfied customers.

Cheap prices

I was there shopping for screen door. Other hardware stores didn’t have it. They had the screen door but not what I was looking for. I needed convincing and I met the guy who says they can install the door out of the frame and when I came home and the worker first said that the door couldn’t fit. He proceeded to say we can install outside the frame which made me happy because he didn’t discourage me that it was going to cost me more to fit it in the frame. Same thing the attendant said. Happy about the buy.

Being a California resident for over 13 years i know my way around alot of large hardward stores and seen all the ups and downs, flaws and services. In my opinion the key to any success would be to ensure the supply is slightly greater than its demand in order to accomodate your local contractors and your DYI'ers most of these folks know what they want when they walk into a gaint hardware store and usualy know where to find what they need. My only problem and what i have notice about most of the store is when i walk in knowingly that they would have certain items instock prior to me even making the trip to my local home depot is i would go online to check their inventory, and the items are not on the shelves. what i would do is look up the Store SKU# and find it myself. The biggest problem with that is that its out of reach and there is usauly no associate around to grab it for you or you would have to wait atleast 15 to 30 mins just to get your item you need. That being said would be the only reason for me that deamed this rating a 4 star other than that Home Depot has what we need its just a matter of how much time you have on your hands to be able to get it. other than online orders and instore special orders that usaully take some time. As a customer you would just have to plan on how much time you would need to make sure that you get the items within a certain time frame to be able to complete any project. Guam does not have the luxury of other major harware competitors to be able to offset a short fall of supplys or tools of the trade that most companys in the united states.that being said i feel the managment team here locally should be able to capitalize on.

First of all the store is well set up as in the states. Only problem is the cashiers tend to speak in their language in front of customers, secondly they need to get someone else to make their announcements...I experienced today a customer service rep making an announcement that I didn’t even understand a word she said. It’s sounds so rude, fast and the words she spoke were not clear, sounded like she gurgling..

It’s convenient and affordable

All employees were helpful and knowledgeable. Store was very busy but all staff seemed to help making it better by guiding Customers and controlling the long line.
