There were many lumber carts sitting in the aisles, full of online orders. Unfortunately, there weren't enough carts available for me to find one to use during my visit. I see this frequently. Moving through the lumber aisles is also a problem because of all the full carts siting around.

I searched several stores for a C13 power cable. No one had it nor were they familiar with it although I had the bad cable to show them. I went to Hampton, VA Home Depot, and found the cable in less than 5 minutes. The young man that I asked for help was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I knew his name so You could recognize his performance. The store was clean and very well layed out.

The employees didn’t talk to me and I got to wander aimlessly around till I found what I wanted

Seems like every time I go in there anymore the employees don’t act courteous to the customers. They are never at the registers to actually do a job. But most problems start with the managers not doing their job and making sure the people under them do theirs. It seems to be better to order something online than to go to the actual store.

I have noticed during my numerous recent visits that the associates seem more attentive and friendly. May times as I walk through the store I was greeted by or offered help by different associates. That means so much to me. Keep it going on!

I am writing to commend the world-class service I received from Maritza at your Hampton, VA store on Friday, July 5, 2024. Maritza was working the Returns counter. I had many different items to return and many different receipts charged to multiple credit cards. But Maritza processed all my returns faster than you can say “How doers get more done.” It is people like Maritza who make me a loyal Home Depot customer. I came to Home Depot to find connectors for my new gas range and was almost in tears because no other hardware stores had what I needed. I was lost but the employee stopped immediately and helped me find everything I needed. I am beyond grateful.

I went into Home Depot Hampton Virginia 2 days ago, and it was a pleasant experience from beginning to end! They had plenty of employees working in all departments & Everyone I encountered asked if they could help me! I dealt with 3 employees while I was there, Matthew(Lumber) Sherry(Cashier) and Rhonda (Customer Service ) ALL outstanding & they all treated me as though I was valued customer! As far as I am concerned, you have no competition..

I came in earlier this morning looking for plants, staff was very helpful and showed me different kinds of flowers. He even helped me find the best looking one. I will definitely be shopping here again!

Experience was awful. Never heard from designer after I paid for measurements. Emailed to ask what happened to my design and they just refunded me measurement fee.. left me hanging.
