The staff is friendly and professional. The shelves are stocked and the selection is second to none.

I only wouldn't recommend this store if you are doing a renovation and have to have big ticket items delivered. If you do, beware that the delivery may be delayed a few times and stuff will be missing.

Worse experience no one wants to help you employees in groups talking and helping no customers someone needs to do some recon in this store. It did not use to be like this

Knowledgeable associates, great products and clean store. I called ahead to make sure the product was in stock, because sometimes there is a lag with the app. The associate who helped me was able to answer all my questions and tell me exactly where everything was.

Needs more cashiers

I've used other Home Depot stores and the Hampton store is always more stocked, employees are friendly and helpful.

I was ignored in this store. I needed 15 bags of mulch the old man at the gardening door said “there’s nothing I can do about that.... YOU gotta find someone to help”. I was very unsatisfied.

The staff and employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. The store was clean, neat and very well organized. Marty went out of his way to be friendly and helpful and helped me load my mulch in my vehicle. Thank you.

If you need help with bath or kitchen design, from tile to counters to appliances talk to Stephanie Ellington! She is fabulous and knows the inventory as well as how to find what you want on the computer! Super helpful!!

The employees were not friendly or helpful this visit. Several walked pass me as I was wandering, trying to find a doorbell, stepladder & indoor plants. Unfortunately, this is the closest store to where I live or I would go somewhere else. And the only reason I gave 2stars was the store was cleaned, & you were taking precautions for covid19.

Connie in windows and doors is superb! She is fully knowledgeable about the products available,and all the pros and cons. She is well experienced in this area and did not even need to reference the manufacturer's data at first! I will be returning to her for my future doors and windows replacement needs! Thank you Connie!

It's always worth the trip, even tho. the Newport News, is a little closer.

Store associates were very helpful and freindly

I had a great shopping experience and received assistance from a very knowledgeable employee at the paint desk. I went into the store with a very basic understanding of what I needed for my home improvement projects and came out of the store feeling as if I had a much greater understanding. Thanks to the expertise of this employee, my projects went very well and I'm very satisfied with this experience! The store was very clean as well and products were easy to find.
