The store employees were friendly and helpful. It was clean and easy to locate items. At least two workers inquired to see if we needed assistance. We really appreciated the fact that we didn't have to ask for help when we checked out at the self check-out station. There was no waiting at the self check out station. A large utility cart was ready for us when we picked up the timbers and we didn't have to look around in the parking lot to find one. It was an all around good experience!

Every employee seems to know, at the very least, a little about every department in the store. They can tell you where even the most obscure item is and if they can't, they won't stop until they find it or someone who can. Very caring and patient employees. They truly want to help you get the right products for the job at hand. They take time to answer even the most obvious of questions while not making you feel rushed and they will stay with you until they are sure you are satisfied and can be of no further assistance. I have never met an employee there that I did not feel was a true asset to the company. It is a pleasure to shop there.

I love the paint desk lady. We discuss her apron "designs" from the paint dots. Once a guy gave us a lengthy plumbing "lesson" even though we bought about $3 worth of stuff. Always get a friendly reception at this store.

Malloy was so helpful during our choice in new flooring for our house. He made it a lot less stressful for me and my husband.

We went into the store just to look at products, cabinets, sinks etc. We had a couple of questions and the associate spent considerable time explaining about the features, colors etc for what we were interested in. By time we left there we had ordered the bathroom cabinets and counter top. I have had several questions for this associate and she has answered and helped me every time with consideration and patience. The cabinets have come in and they are just beautiful. We have not started construction yet but will be using the company installer. Our experience so far has been very positive.

Harvey Ellison saved my day! Helped me get everything I needed to fix my dryer duct and gave me some sound advice which I put to good use! Was able to complete my project without returning to the store for forgotten items and everything went smoothly! Thanks Harvey!

It was surprisingly easy to get assistance with the rental of an item that was needed for the day. Item was available and associates were very helpful.

Harvey came up to us and offered help in his dept,then returned to offer more help. Returned an item ( with receipt) and it took 2 min. Associate at self service check out helped us also! Other large box store I practically see tumble weed rolling down the isle, but this store goes out of there way to help.

I enjoyed my visit to this store, all the associated were very helpful and explain all my questions and concerns about the product that I was interested in buying, I went ahead and buy my Ryobi generator 2200, also purchased the 3 yr. Repair plan.

What I real liked is the cashier saw my Vietnam Veteran hat and ask if I had a card showing that I am a Veterian,. I could get a 10% discount. She didn't have to tell me that, but she did. Thank you Home Depot for helping us vets.We senior citizens need any help we can get. It's not easy for us old folks who live on Social Security to make end meet. Town next to Broadway is Timberville and they are building a Wal-Mart. I wish it was a Home Depot. I saw your founder of Home Depot on TV, was very impressed with him. He was telling how Home Depot helped during disasters. It was chilling to see. I made up my mind, No more Lowe's, only Home Depot. Thanks again Home Depot. Jon Crafts Broadway, Va.

Customer service at The Home Depot -Harrisonburg is outstanding. This evening, when I walked past the customer service desk, Jenn told me she had an On-Line Order waiting for me. She had the item on the counter before I could even get the Pick-up Notification out of my pocket. My 2nd Grade English teacher always said it was incorrect to say "Very Excellent". Still, "Better than Excellent" is how I would describe the customer service I received today.

We found Andre to be extremely helpful. He took the time to explain the product to us. He was very polite and professionall. Conversely, Sarah was the associate at the door, and her attitude was bored and I got the feeling we she was totally uninterested in helping us. She also checked me out, and the attitude was the similar to the one she displayed at the door.

I always have a good time shopping here at the Harrisonburg Home Depot. I have gotten to know many of the store associates and they know me and many of my repeated needs. We have a great time together

I usually look for needed building supplies or home maintenance tools and supplies at either the local cooperative (family owned and operated) or the local family-owned building supply and lumber yard. When I don't find there what I need, HD or Lowes are my next best locations to get the need met. Although HD and Lowes are sometimes interchangeable, I go to HD for some items and Lowes for others. Our local HD personnel are more available than the Lowes, nearly always. And when I'm looking for a new or unfamiliar item, I can be pretty sure that HD folks will be both available and go the extra distance to make sure I get what I'm after.

The store was well organized so that I could get in and out quickly and safe. The associates were all very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this location.
