Leila the cashier at pick up and returns in customer service was so helpful and kind.

The service at this store, whether instore or through online, is the absolute worst I have encountered of any Home Depot anywhere, and I have been to over a dozen Home Depots all over the country. One example of many is I ordered (in-store) 2 windows, a 4 X 4 timber, bag of sand, and a 5 gal. bucket for curbside delivery. I scheduled a contractor to install the windows the day of the delivery. When the really big delivery truck arrived and the guy open the back of the truck, the only items in the whole truck were the 4 x 4, sand, and bucket. I asked the driver where the windows were. They weren't on his list. After calling the store, being put on hold multiple times for 15-20 minutes, I was told the windows were listed as in-store pickup. The Home Depot employee who did the order for us marked the other items for delivery, set up the delivery time, but marked the windows as in-store pickup. No apologies, just "it happens". After another week the windows were delivered.

I’m a frequent shopper at the Jersey City store. All of the associates and management staff make my shopping experience pleasant. Thank You to all of them for their kindness and generosity in helping customers like me.

I have placed an order of 2 fridges, 2 washing machines and 2 dryers in the Jersey City store 0935 processed by the store manager when I came in. The delivery truck arrived late after the timeframe mentioned without even calling to notify their delay. When the delivery truck arrived there, I was asked where to drop off the items. I responded that it is not just a drop off but the appliances needed to be installed too as included in my order. The delivery guys refused to do that and called their management who said that they were set just drop the items off and leave and informed me that to have the items installed I will have to call home Depot and organize that with them. While I was discussing with home Depot hotline who confirmed me that the installation was included, she reached out to the Home Delivery America management and put me on hold the time to clarify the situation. At this time, the delivery truck who came straight upfront in the one way street advised they will have to turn the truck and come back in reverse to drop the items. The left with the items in the truck and never came back. I have attempted to call the truck various time to know where they were since they advised they will go turn and come back in reverse while the driver never picked up or returned my calls. I got notified by the home Depot that the delivery was rescheduled one week after. I did not consented to that and the delivery company said they will turn the truck from the street and come back in reverse. I still do not understand how the truck could decide to leave with my items without my approval. I strongly believe that as the delivery truck arrived late they did not wanted to complete the job at that hour. I have never received a call from the management of Home Depot and the management of the Home Delivery America to understand these disrespectful practices that appears to be common from both Home Depot and Home Delivery America when looking at the customer reviews. Outrageous!

The store is close by and provides all necessary product s. The items are of good quality and competitive prices The staff is by and large very helpful and informed.

Got all items we were looking for! Staff went extra mile to help out, esp the 2 lady staff who helped us get the bug zapping bulbs.

Very poor at customer service. It seems like the workers on the floor are avoiding customers who are looking for assistance. It’s sad that it turned out this way unlike before.

ASSISTANT MANAGERS AND CUSTOMER ASSOCIATES IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AREA REFUSE TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. MOST OF THEM HAVE ATTITUDE. OTHER LOCATIONS ( LAKEWOOD AND TOMS RIVER NJ) TAKES CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS BUT THIS LOCATION DOES NOT. THEY NEED CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING. THIS STORE IS A SHAME.

This store on my recent visit was horrible ,I must Preface this by saying it was Xmas eve and yes they were short on staffing, I understand that. My issues is myself and 6 other customers were waiting for help in the plumbing dept after crew members making serval pages for help and pages for a manager no one showed up we waited 23 minutes and finally a crew member comes over and tells us there were no plumbing members working that day , my problem is if that was the case had someone come tell me that in 22 minutes before my wait time I would have understand, due to the holiday if only I was told that I would have been more then happy to comeback another day. Now i will NEVER go back to this store. I work in customer service . For myself being told the truth is the only thing I respect when it comes to me receiving customer service.

It soo good , I love the store to visit

beginning of August i brought in a pressure washer too be service they told me it would be 20 dollars to send out to be repair and will take about 4 to 6 weeks to return I said fine i never heard back from HD after that. In October 25th i decided to go to the store to find out what's going on i spoke to customer service they were able to pull up the order it said that the Pressure Washer was sent back from the repair center on September but HD lost it. I was offer a credit because you guys didn't have that model anymore that's not my fault as a store you should acknowledge you lost my product and give me a replacement similar but not below the one i had, at no cost to customer i shouldn't have to spend extra money to get a model similar to the one you guys lost. At the end someone help us out but that situation should not have gotten to that point and a manger should have been present

The ladies here are fantastic!!! I am hard pressed to remember all their names. Tasha, Leila, the lady who is by the check out area and the security guard. They all are worthy of A+++ in customer service and effort

That time was busy...I bought some item and saw the line was long.. I decided to go to service area and ask the lady if I could pay here.. She responded YES. Her name is LEILA. A beautiful Spanish lady. She was very nice. She greeted me and everything that was awesome!

Waited for 20 min to get an associate to help me take out a 8 1/2 x 10' carpet. Ended up getting it myself. Nobody would even approach and ask if I need help, and when I did ask, still nobody came. I do like to highlight the fact that several associates came by my way and not necessarily busy with anything and still rather not offer any help. Even after I reached the self-checkout counter, I was having trouble scanning the carpet, the associate incharge doesn't have faintest clue to recognize this.

Overall I’ll give an A for the Home Depot Rt.440 Good Job! I highly recommend!

My experience today was made WONDERFUL! By a young lady named Lateefah. Her knowledge, expertise, hospitality and overall personality was all of stellar magnitude!!! This employee made my day a GREAT ONE! She even was able to check me out right there!!! Thank you Lateefah!!! Please have her conduct new and current employee orientation! You could benefit from having employees model after Lateefah

The Jersey City Home Depot is my favorite. I always get in and out fast and the employees are very helpful. On this occasion there was a representative from Milwaukee Tools working with the store employees. I save about $150.00 on power tools that I was shopping for. That's equals more cash I could spend on other things I needed at the Home Depot.

My wife and I just had a very dissatisfactory experience at this location. We wanted to purchase a lid for our rubber maid recycle bin. Which is sold separately both on the website and at the store. After finding the lid that matches our bin we proceeded to checkout. However, at the register the employ refused to look up the item and requested my wife and I to find the sky for the item. Even after I showed them the item listed on the website. They refused to sell us the lid. Stating that the item is sold as one unit with the can.
