I just got my M18 fuel set with the free tool for their Black Friday sale and I was having an issue with the promo that was being offered on the online Home Depot app. Essentially the Home Depot app offers a 50 dollar reduction off the total price of your purchase if you apply for their credit card. Which I did, but the app would remove the Black Friday sale when applying the credit card discount. I figured this may be a bug in the system to I went into the store yesterday and tried buying it there with the discounts applied but it turns out the app was offering something that isn’t achievable. I normally don’t make a big stink over promo offers but what bothered me at that moment is that I applied for the credit card and got accepted for it with the fact in mind that I can apply $50 dollars off my total purchase. Now like I said I don’t get bothered over promo prices but if it involved my credit score being pulled then of course I would want the price that it’s being offered at online. NOW with that being said, I was able to have the chance to talk to Nicole, the Kapolei Home Depot manager and she listened to my situation and informed me about why that had happened and also understood me as a customer. After hearing my gripe she assisted me so well, and drove with EXCELLENT customer service. She honored the price that I showed her on the Home Depot app and did everything possible to make my request happen. To any Home Depot higher ups that may be seeing this review. Please give that woman a raise, promotion or something. Along side the original customer service rep that also initially helped me. ( I unfortunately didn’t get her name) They were both magnificent and amazing to talk to. Thank you to both of them. You 2 were great employees and I’m sure you’re great people outside of the work establishment as well.

Location has a history of locking entrance doors during business hours in violation of the fire code. Avoid this location if you have an aversion to burning to death or dying by asphyxiation by toxic smoke.

I've asked on numerous occasions to fix the US Army banner. Whoever needs to hear this to get it fixed, please fix this.

When I showed the customer service person a picture of the lower price they had on an item only days before , they not only accommodated me , they exceeded the lower price . Excellent!

I bought some beautiful plants, a chainsaw and a hedge trimmer to do my own pruning but I also need a coconut grater…can you get one for me???

My wife and I were trying to locate a purchase item (numbers to display our address) and an elderly sales associate, to the time to assist us with locating an item which showed they had about 8 or 12 in stock (can’t remember exactly), but he tried everything to assist us with locating the items we were looking for. Sorry, was not able to take any photos, but I sure you folks have video cameras in the establishment.

I came to pick up a door and I really thought it would fit in my suv. Nikki (I think that was her name) helped me out greatly and was able to adjust the door and packaging to fit in my suv. Thank you!

You had an employee that was very friendly and gave up his cart when he was going to get a cart. I wish I caught his name because I was impressed at how friendly he was. The guy also wished me a happy Father’s Day and asked if I needed any other help while I was looking for cleaning supplies. He had a black hat on that day. It was Saturday, June 14 around the middle of the day. I walked away thinking to myself that if this is the kind of customer service I got everywhere I went, I would be very intentional about shopping at that location again even if their competitor had a better price variation. Your guy has made me a loyal customer for the foreseeable future. You can probably see him hand me the cart

Just would like put in my 2 cents about this one stop that I made to the Home Depot in mapunapuna district . Although it’s a fairly new store , I went there thinking they would have grass for sale ( seashore paspalem) just as they have in another city (kapolei) . But infact , they didn’t have ANY type of grass for sell at this store . Maybe they should really look into it ! Just a suggestion ! Ty
