went in looking for one thing in particular and remembered something else and couldn't find it. They were very helpful in directing me to the correct isle.

someone should check to make sure that products are always in stock and that products are placed back in the proper location after customers misplace them.

i like my home depot a lot, except that parking can be difficult; not that there are a lack of spaces, it's just that getting around the garage can be confusing, esp because it is a bit dark in there

The help at this store was amazingly great. They directed me to the area I was interested in, helped me with my purchase and checked me out at the register quickly. Great store!

I'm sure that all Home Depots have great associates but this is my store. Phil in paint is hands down the most helpful associate ever.

The store has ample sheltered parking in a nice location. The associates have a good knowledge about the products their departments have to offer and if your looking for something specific while browsing there are employees that can direct you to the right area. A+ experience.

I was searching a list of 20 City of Chicago-approved vendors for compost bins on Sunday. I reached Brad at the Lincoln Park store (even though I live on the far, far northeast side). He was knowledgeable and helpful and recommended a size that would work for my apt building porch. The call was quick and to-the-point, which I definitely appreciated. I had a return today, which was also handled expeditiously by a friendly returns cashier. I was directed by a friendly help desk associate, and then accompanied by another associate (Rick) to the compost bins section of the store. On the elevator down to the cashiers, an associate said "You know about the city rebate program?" "Are you Brad?" Sure enough, I met Brad and thanked him again for his help by phone. At checkout, the cashier, seeing my bafflement on how to scan something that large, came over and took care of scanning it and handling the store-credit I'd been issued for the return. WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY AT HOME DEPOT!!!

Wanted to get a key copied. I was in and out of the door in 5 minutes. AWESOME. Ed was my store associate and super friendly and accomidating.

I live in Andersonville and drive to the LP location before I go to any store closer to me...staff is always so nice, smiling and greet you when you walk by. I love knowing that the people genuinely are happy and give the extra little attention to customer service!

Not only does this location lack a good deal of product, the associate who "helped" me suggested that I visit a competing store to find what I needed. All the while the product I was looking for was just downstairs, apparently unknown to the associate.

People were accommodating in the garden department. Not always terribly knowledgeable.

For a neighborhood store, Home Depot 1976 is a great spot to find nearly every need for your home or condo. From little repairs to bathroom remodels, I have been able to find what I need at the end of my block. Thanks, Home Depot!

Associates were very helpful, and the cashier named "Star" exceeded my expectations. I was very frustrated not knowing how I would attempt self checkout, but she was a huge help.Stress reduced drastically

Went to my favorite Home Depot in Lincoln Park and was looking for spray to keep spiders away from my apt.The sales associate that helped me knew exactly what I needed and what kind of spider I was talking about.No more spiders .Thanks

It was 7:30 on Sunday and I was in a bind. My kitchen sink was in need of replacing since what I attempted to do to fix it proved useless. I rushed down to the HD in Lincoln Park, they were open til 8 unlike all of their competitors. With the skilled and knowledgeable feedback of Angelo I walked out with a new Moen Banbury Faucet that was everything I hoped for. Angelo educated me on how to select a faucet, which one was his best selling faucet, and what I may expect to see during my install. I am pleased that great customer service still exists. Also, I double checked the internets on pricing, Home Depot had the best price! Look for Angelo, give him a shout, he knows his stuff.

I have a decent experience at this store almost every time I visit. friendly associates (even though some don't have enough knowledge about store an/or products or think about finding another associate who would be more competent) and helpful as much as they can. i rarely end up not finding a product I am looking for (I also try to check the website and locate if home depot carries the item i am looking for and if they have it at the stores close to me)

I appreciate the sincerely friendly attitude of both the cashier and the employee that helped me find what I was looking for.
