What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?

Great Experience & Store Associates
A store associate named Rob assisted me with purchase at the Machesney Park HD. Rob was extremely helpful and friendly. He saved me lots of time and quickly located the parts I needed for an RO system install at my house. Rob made the experience enjoyable and learned a lot in the process. The install went without a hitch & I have him to thank. I drive by another home improvement store every time thanks to people like him. Thanks again Rob & others at the store that continue to exceed expectations.

Great store experience
Had several questions and within moments had an associate leading me around the store to different departments helping me get my questions answered. Also helped select some plywood and arranged to get it cut to size for me. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and friendly. Definitely one of my favorite stores.

Enjoyable
Went in for window coverings and needed them cut to size. Associate was knowledgable and quick. Spent an arm and a leg, but totally worth it. Very enjoyable experience.

Some up some down
Need help finding a specific item for a project. The associate in the lumber department was working with someone else and indicated it would be a while. Walked up front to find help. My first encounter with a cashier netted nothing. She had no idea what to do. I turned to go to customer service and there were 3 employees 20 feet from the first encounter just kibbutzing. Responded well when I asked for help. Since the items were specific and we wanted to minimize cost, it took a while but he hung in and was very helpful.
Went to the window covering department to complete our project. From the samples displayed we found a perfect shade. Unfortunately, there was a huge mechanical lift machine in the way. I wasn't in the mood to hunt for some again. We just went to check out. HD lost a $100 sale because of clutter blocking access to merchandise.
