What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?

great store- associates should be more eager to help customers and cease personal phone use and gossiping .
Home Depot seemed to be short staffed on every visit- and I made at least 20+ visits. I was unhappy with some of the young women associates- most seemed uninterested in helping. And it was the same young ladies ever time!!! The older associates were very helpful and courteous.

Ultimate customer experience
I checked the mobile site for availability for a sale item 4 for $12. After a 20 minute search (and wait). the associate informed that item was not in stock. I thought what good it it do to check the website, that said there was plenty of product , when the store was sold out. I asked to speak to a manager. He was busy at another part of the store and would speak to me when he was finished. after 10 minutes I went to the returns dept. and asked to speak to the manager. I was becoming frustrated. Long story short, I caught up with the associates that initially helped me. The got the Manager on the phone who then stated to let me have whichever bags of rocks I wanted at the same sale price. My Patience paid off! I bought 17 50lb. bags of a better product at a cheaper price. i wish more stores would managers would make executive decisions like that when a item is out of stock instead of writing a rain check. Another plus was the associates loading all 17 50lb. bags from the store onto my truck! How unexpected.

TAKING CARE OF OUR VETERANS
As a Marine Corps Veteran, I like how Home Depot take care of us. The discount is good. The way we (the Veterans) get treated by the associates is of respect and they always thankful for our Service. I shop in both Home Depot and Lowes, but started noticing that the prices on the majority of the articles I purchase are lower at Home depot.

GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!
Researched electric smokers for about a week online....got a little insight from my brother regarding his preference as he owns 2 brands. I took it upon myself to do a little research after checking two stores and came up with a Brinkmann 1500watt smoker just for starters. Once my husband and I got to the store we found exactly what we wanted and more....We purchased the rib rack, digital thermometer, wooden skewers, a cleaning brush and some other items for our home in general. The whole trip worked out fine.

Associate steps up for contractor
Associate stepped up for contractor that drove from Baytown after calling in for availability of materials. after they found another dropped the ball by not visibly checking for the materials before advising the contractor. Teamwork came into play when display was empty and they (2 Associates) quickly located additional materials and got me on my way.
