I had an issue with her water hose exchange, and the cash register would not let the employees go through with it. After two trips to the store, Edin, the store manager today, took care of it immediately, and in such a common sense way! Thank you Edin!

Sometimes I can never get any help at Home Depot. This Home Depot in Newark, CA was an exception. Employee, Susan; was very kind & helpful. Need more employees like her.

Issac helped me find the right material for my backyard needs.

Store is always neat and tidy (even at customer service) when I go. Associates are kind and friendly.

Need more staffing. Helping customers ONE at a TIME. Ensuring customers have everything they need for completing their project at home...I have to go back to HD because the battery and charger is separate from leaf blower and sales person didn't state that...waste of my time..

The Christmas Tree I bought at the Newark Home Depot looks beautiful in my living room. I thank the people that helped me and, Denise, the cashier, who made my purchase perfect.

I'm a landlord that had a couple of these products installed in various units. My tenants have caused damage to the flooring (which I never expected), by have sharp metal legs on their bed Frame, by dragging heavy furnishings. Also some of the product has faded and shrunk near the patio doors. This is very disappointing, that now these colors have been discontinued. These are Home Depot brands, how can you do that to us. How do we make repairs?

Staff are untrained and do not know how to perform simple necessary tasks.

A lot of the time the Home Depot Floor people attempt to avoid contact with a customer looking like they need help. Two Home Depot employees were walking away from me when I waved my hand and called out, "Will either of you help me"? Dominic in the Building Department cordially asked how he could be of assistance. Dominic helped me localize 102 pieces of hardware inside of 15 minutes on the upper shelves (needing a ladder to get to" and made a sale for HD in the amount of $1,147.41. TY Dominic

I went into Home Depot with a small project to build a frame to support a food delivery bag on an electric scooter.I have no experience when it comes to building with wood. Boston was the amazing gentlemen that helped me pick out lumber and get correct sizing for what I needed it for. Boston has exceptional customer service paired alongside his knowledge of lumber. I would definitely go back to Home Depot just because of him.

I like shopping at this store becasue of its location and the size of it. They almost always have everything in stock

Every employee at the store greeting me like a family member, I love them all, they are very efficient doing their Job, they know about just everything no matter in what department they are employees, they always find the solution to every questions that may have.

I have lived in the area for 25 years and have gone to this Home Depot any time I am doing DIY projects, home repair or just want to find new garden ideas. The customer service is hit or miss depending on the time and day I go. Weekdays it's next to impossible to find an employee on the floor, but I have been able to get lots of help from friendly customers! Evenings I seem to have better luck. The checkout in the garden center always has friendly, helpful people, but it's closed in the evenings. I buy my laundry items there because the prices are good, but for some reason they are now locked up and I have to walk all over the store to find someone to unlock the doors. Recently the Big Lots store next door closed and the day laborers and homeless folks have set up camp at the front of the old store, making it impossible to walk down the sidewalk. Customers have to walk into the traffic to get past. I realize this isn't Home Depot's property, but this is negatively affecting their customers. It would be very helpful if you could work with the City of Newark to address this issue. I, and many people I have talked to, will not go near Home Depot after dark because we don't want to have to wall over people sleeping on the sidewalk.

The Pro counter staff is not as nice every time we make a phone sale. We are disappointed with our experiences at the Newark store.

I was on my way to check out in the self check out line to speed up the ability to check out fast and skipp the line when I looked and realized I had too many items. When the cashier approaches me we both noded in agreement that I had to many items, when she without hesitation said she didn't mind helping me check out. Lisa, made my experience pleasant because we had the chance to talk and enjoy a nice conversation. Thank you Lisa! I hope to see you soon.

I bought exactly what I needed today! I found and bought the items and it took only a few minutes in total with a courteous, and gracious cashier, Imelda....nice trip in a clean and maintained store thank you for making this trip fun

THIS IS A SMALLER STORE THAN OTHERS, BUT PLEASE TRY TO FILL THE SHELFS WITH ITEM, IT IS EMPTY!!!!!

Be careful if you use self checkout and paid by cash. The machine shorted me $10.

Lias is very helpful at the self checkout stand. And is very knowledgeable on product location

I bought the husky 1lb ballpen hammer with a wood handle. I like it. I bought the fuse puller from home depot. But after this day, my brother gives me the same one as a present. So, I have to return it to the store. The casher is very friendly and she helps me in the return process.

Even though this is a smaller store, I shop the Newark store at least once a week.
