Is there a new 12-foot skeleton at Home Depot?
We've updated our viral 12-foot Skelly with LCD eyes options! Now you can get a 12-foot skeleton controlled with an app and a smaller 6.5-foot app-controlled Skelly for convenient scaring. We've got other new animated Halloween creatures to help you build your Halloween scene. When Halloween is over, keep your tall and terrifying decor safe for next year in our decor storage bag and 170-gallon storage tote designed just for this.
What home repairs should I make during the fall?
Be confident your home is equipped for fall cooling by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If water gets in the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, inspect metal roofing or shingles for damage that may let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
Do you have moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
