the employees were friendly helpfull but nthe product i wanted was out of stock. it seems it is out of stock in all stores in my area , not just yours

Fred was very friendly and helpful, like he always is.

I had the BEST experience with an associate at the Newburgh Home Depot. I was trying to put together two dog gates on my porch. I came across Fred Romano. Showed him a rough draft/picture of what I wanted to make....AND HE DID THE REST. He pointed out what I needed. Answered any and every question I had. And today, Thank You Fred! Gates done and looking forward to another projest.

The store needed some TLC. Aisles were blocked and difficult to get a cart thru.

If you go to the outdoor area, and with a little luck, an employee by the name of Sharon will be there. You won't find a more helpful person. No pressure, just good information and lots of help. She helped us carry out our patio purchase, load it, and even got cardboard to pad it! Friendly all throughout. What a great experience. Thank you, Sharon.

The greeter headed me in the right direction when I asked where CO2 detectors were located. When I arrived in that section, a gentleman immediately asked if he could help me and proceeded to give me information about the many different types available and answered questions I posed, all to my satisfaction.

The store was filthy, the employees were rude and not very helpful. The only positive thing about this store is the actual products.

Great Customers Service, someone was always there when I need help. Very satisfied with my experience at this home depot location. My company uses them all the time.

The material was available but the personnel needed to cut the lumber I needed wasn't.

Apparently had some employees not show up to work. No one to assist i loading mulch or to answer questions regarding counter tops

This store which was great when it first opened 20 years ago declined in cleanliness and product availability starting about 10 years ago, lately there seems to be an effort to improve the store. Less out of stock items, less garbage laying around overall, and an effort to maintain the improvements. Only if most of the bilingual signage and product labeling would be reduced so it's not such a chore to figure out what something does or fits.

ASSOCIATES NEED TO GET MORE TRAINING BEFORE THEY ARE LEFT ON THEIR OWN TO SERVICE CUSTOMERS.

Associates are always helpful, knowledgeable and courteous.

If you get a chance, see associate Fred Romano. He knows his stuff, does not give a lot of fluff, is reassuring in keeping you focused on completing your job.

This store allows PERSONAL dogs inside. (I am NOT referring to SERVICE dogs here). Recently, a customer's medium size PERSONAL dog defecated on the floor in the aisle, making a major disgusting mess, and forcing me to divert around with a cart weighing over 350 pounds! I like dogs, but sorry...they do not belong everywhere...certainly not in retail establishments...Lowe's is just across the street, and I have never had to evade dog feces in their store...DISGUSTING!

I needed to go to the Home Depot for work, which is usually the store we use locally for our maintenance supplies. I am familiar with the store, so knew which area of the store to go to for my purchases. Every department had working associates that always asked if I need any assistance. If yes, they directed me to exactly where aisle and where on the aisle along with answering my questions on a certain product I was purchasing.

The store was clean and the associates that assisted me were courteous and helpful. There was a skid of fence posts in front of the empty shelf and after getting the associate he was very helpful in opening the items I needed and I was able to make my purchase and leave.

The store is clean, well organized and well staffed. I know where everything is and I am glad that they keep the store relatively static in terms of its stock. There is nothing more frustrating than to know where everything is in a store only to find out that the stock has been rearranged. Home Depot in Newburgh NY has a friendly and helpful staff which makes shopping there a pleasure.
