My wife and I placed a huge order ($4500). The Home Depot canceled the order. A week went by No one got back to me about the canceled order. I was waiting and so were my contractors. I called customer service and found out it was canceled. The Home Depot customer service called me to check on my items the next day so I had to drive down there to check my order. The associate looked at the order and said you can accept it at your home there tomorrow. Next day , I received a call to say the order would not be coming in due to times missing. (hello... she checked my order the previous day and said all is good!! ) Then she said I have to pay extra for the delivery fee on top of the $79 delivery fee that I paid while placing the order in the beginning. According to them, my order was simply too big. They promised that It would be there the next day. Next day, they delivered only 1 item and said the rest of the items did not fit on the Home Depot truck and they have to order a special flat delivery truck that would be needed and I had to pay extra again. Meanwhile the truck that came to deliver that 1 item was a flat open truck!!! I'm still waiting for my order. I'm really frustrated. Can someone please contact me? Im going to Pine Brook Home Depot for all of my supplies. Stay away from Parsippany. They are hopeless.

        Horrible experience
        Rosa, at self checkout has changed. She use to be a very pleasant happy cashier. now that she is working self checkout it has been a negative experience: i was in self checkout with only 4 items to scan, as i am scanning them she comes over and says "are all 4 items scanned?" - all she had to do is look at the monitor/screen to see that all 4 were scanned and did not have to say anything which was unsettling. I am a pro member and shop frequently at your home depot. why have a self checkout when someone is hovering over you and questioning if all items are scanned, just open up a cashier lane and have them scan the items for the customer. it would be a more pleasant and positive experience.
          Military discount
          For those who is entitled to a military discount beware went there today they told me its on certain items.
            Took forever to get help and check out was grossly understaffed
            Took forever to get help and check out was grossly understaffed. Almost 1 hour to make a 5 minute transaction. Middle of the day on Wednesday 4/17 with no help to order blinds and only 1 register open to ring up 3 items (no self check-outs)

                    Dear Parsippany New Jersey Home Depot Staff, I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service I received at your store recently. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile. Everywhere I stepped I was offered help. The staff member who assisted me, Rebecca, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure that I found everything I needed and that I understood how to use the product I was going to purchase. She helped me load my Ryobi miter saw in the cart and helped me with a promotional issue I was having at checkout. I came back to the store the next day to discuss a promotion that I couldn't get the day before with the miter saw. Again, Rebecca helped me and directed me to talk to the Manager Mel. Before, I spoke to Mel, I spoke to Berlice. I was very frustrated when I first saw him, but he was incredibly patient and understanding. He took the time to listen to my concerns and to investigate the issue thoroughly. Mel came and quickly identified the root of the problem and provided me with a clear and concise explanation of what had happened. He worked diligently to find a solution that met my needs. I was very impressed by his professionalism and his commitment to customer service. He went above and beyond to help me resolve my issue, and I am very grateful for his assistance. I am also writing to express my sincere gratitude for his help in resolving the issue I was experiencing. Thank you again Rebecca, Berlice, Mel and Gisella for all your help.
